It really depends on why I'm not having sex. If I'm seperated from my SO I do just fine. But when we are together and it doesn't happen for 3 or so days. I start to become a real asshole. I think it has a lot to do with feeling loved and thinking of a lack of sex as a rejection of my love.

Exactly. I would say that I miss lovemaking, not sex. Those are different things in my book. When too much time passes, I get very depressed and paranoid and wonder why we have gone so long.

yes, I agree perfectly.. I'm also married.. been with her for 3 years and it has really reduced.. I know 1-3 times a week isnt bad.. and there are plenty of people that get less, but it's really hard...
My university has some of the finest women in the world and tons of them.. they are everywhere.. they are wearing shorts that thier asses hang out of and skirts that leave nothing to the imagination... I deal with some of my bachelor friends who fuck five different girls a week... and hearing and seeing all this makes me that much more grouchy...

I dont mention the outside temptation to my wife (where would that get me) and I really love her, but if I dont get nay in 2-3 days I turn into a jerk.. after 3-5 days I usually start a fight about it.. it usually makes things worse.. but I cant handle it...

I need 3-5 times a week at least.. she happy with once it seems...

It's hearing about situations like these that makes a man not want to get married.

Let's face it... marriage is the ideal setting for sex between a man and a woman, but yet most women refuse to put out once you take them to the altar.

Hell... if that's how it's gonna be then I'd rather remain a bachelor for life and get laid when I want than to get married and never get any sex except to make babies.

After more than two years since posting the last message on this thread I find that my thirst for sex is still not quenched and it is starting to look as though Murphy's Law is having a hayday with my sex life (or lack thereof). Sometimes I wonder whether I'd be much happier if I could find a way to kill my sex drive instead of tying to get more sex. Maybe I'd be satisfied with my lot in life if I didn't want it so often to begin with.

[Not to put salt in the wound] Yah, I do have sex regularly. But after a pregnancy scare (I'm a student actor, she the same) we stopped for awhile. no one wants to have sex when you get kick in the metaphorical nuts from the act itself. During that two weeks I felt like a rollercoaster. I'd be angry, then laughing hysterically, then almost in tears of frustration. Did I mention I'm a drama student?

Unless I missed someone in the fray, I must be the only person in this thread who isn't all that bothered by it. Sex is pretty low on my list of things to do... it's amazing and all but I could live without it for a week or two and probably not even notice a change in my mood. No sex when we are apart is manageable, masturbation seems to fix that. Like one other poster said, I tend her to miss being with her more than the sexual side of things.

When we are together my mood tends to degrade if we go without sex for more than a week. She just does not seem to have the same drive I do and at times it makes me crazy. I can pout and she'll give in.... but that just makes me feel awful afterwards and I don't do it often.

The odd thing is I enjoy getting her off just as much if not more than when I orgasm. She typically gets two or more orgasms to every one I get. What is wrong with women?
