M.I.L.F

Does anyone else notice that the term M.I.L.F (Mother I'd Like (to) Fuck) is being thrown around a little loosely?...
in that any older woman (relative to yourself, perhaps?) now seems to get the tag no matter what? ie even if they don't have any kids etc hence not making them a mother and the term invalid

Also, i think my friends around me use the term way too often

Perhaps a more general O.W.I.L.F (Older woman i'd like (to) fuck) would be apt?

on the topic of sex acronyms, does anyone have any other good ones?

...
This is what happens (as a means of self-entertainment) when you've been reading too much, early in the morning, about a reverse engineering approach to evaluate function point rules *sigh*

I used to use the BEQ scale. That was the Beer Equivalent scale (i.e. the number of beers I would have to drink to want to sleep with a certain women). This wasn't particularly original, but I found it funny when I was in college.

MILF meaning mature women is no less accurate than Asian meaning women from China, Japan, Korea or Vietnam. I mean, Asia also encompasses most of Russia, the Middle East, India, Mongolia, etc., but if you go to the TB and click an "Asian" link, I betcha the girl is Japanese.

I was having a discussion about this with a friend (who I've slept with) a few months back, and we were talking about how I'm a year older than he is, so he said "That means I've had a MILF!" To which I said, "well, you may have, but it wasn't me since I don't have kids." Then he told me that the proper term that he should have used would be Cougar. Apparently that's the term for Hot Older Woman Without Kids. Or something. Maybe it's just a Canadian term....

Funny though... My college mascot was the Cougar. So either way, yup, he did nail a Cougar

The Moro Islamic Liberation Front, in the Philippines. Except they'd actaully have a Spanish or Tagalog name, so it prbably comes out FLIM of PWDF or somesuch. First time I saw MILF on the titty board, though, I was hankering for some hot and nasty nekkid terroristas.

I've always used it in reference to the older, barfly-type woman who chain-smokes and will try to take you home at last call. I've never used Cougar as a compliment.

Hahaha..yeah, it is a big term here in Canada. However with my generation a Coug aka cougar tends more to be an older lady who dresses kinda trashy and tried to act/look younger then she is.

A true MILF is any young to middle age "MOTHER" i'd like to f**k. She should be attractive and have a very nice body. She should have have a definite sensual quality about her. Alas, this is another word that has been bastardized. Too bad, it meant so much.

I'm 41 too! I just wonder where all those MILF's were at when I was MILF hunting. This follows the "They didn't make them like that when I was in high school" scenario.

I would like to congratulate the women of america for becoming much more beautiful in the last 20 years.

GADS! I wonder if my mid-life crisis is kicking in again.

Ive always believed in making a distinction between a MILF and an older woman without kids. It's just not a MILF if she's not a mom. Perhaps a better way to define the acronym MILF would be "Mother I'd Like (to) Fornicate (with)" or the poilte form, "Mother I'd Like (to) Find."

Also, If you play first person shooters online, you may have thought this thread should be in gaming from the title, because MILF can also mean "Man, I Love Fragging."

Ive always associated the term cougar to someone who is old and skanky.. (Averett you are neither), someone who stalks the bars looking for impressionable young men to snare (yeah I know, sounds devious)

When i was growing up, one of my step fathers friends used to call my mom it and I never understood until i was sixteen or seventeen (can't remember) and I was in montreal on a road trip in the summer and a friend tryed to pick up a girl I thought was our age but she happened to be in her late thirties (talk about taking care of yourself)

When i returned home I told my father this story and he laughed aloud and said "Jay tried to pick up a cougar eh"... Cunucks sure are crazy... good times

Off topic but oh well.

My friends changed up these phrases to insult one another. They always say something like "hey there is some G.i.L.F. or G.G.I.L.F. (pronounced Ga-Gilf) for you."

yeah my friends are twisted, but then again so am I.

MILF is a special designation, and should not be thrown around. In college, we used to call "Parents Weekend" "MILF Weekend" It was inevitable that divorced moms were looking for something.I am a VERY lucky man. My wife is a MILF - if she would let me prove it I would.

I had a similar scale, but in reverse. It was the Clydesdale Scale. It measured how many Clydesdales it would take to drag me away. To give you a sense of the scale, we determined that Catherine Zeta Jones would be about a .25 on the Clydesdale Scale. Hey, a Clydesdale is a big animal! The scale does go into the negatives. A negative number quantifies how hard you're whipping the Clydesdale.

I also devised the millihelen. The millihelen is a unit of measurement of female beauty. One millihelen is the amount of beauty necessary to launch one ship.

Some young OHL Player tried to pick up my gf in a bar. This kid had quite a pair of balls on him too, cause even after my GF said that she had someone, he asked her if she was looking for something on the 'side'! and then he called her a cougar. Being only 30, she just about died!

Along the same lines as "cougar" we call women who obviously dress much younger than their age "clingers" because they are desperately clinging to their lost youth.

Whereas the guys I used to go barhopping with had the beerometer. Roughly, it was the number of beers it would take for the individual to go home with somebody in the room - sort of a clydesdale average of all the women present. A beerometer reading cannot be negative but can be zero, although for it to be a zero it would pretty much have to be the Swedish Bikini Team in the room or something. The beerometer would also rise or fall over the course of the night as different girls entered and left the room. Thus, when an unattractive girl came into the room someone would say 'beerometer rising!', or for a very attractive girl you might say 'the beerometer just dropped a few pints.'

Yeah, we were a bunch of assholes.

I guess I'm pretty late to this thread, but this trend annoys me too. I've been on message boards where posters (probably still in their teens) were calling childless women who looked to be about 30 MILFs. I think that when you're young, you're useless at estimating the ages of people more than a few years older than you. One obviously teen poster even responded to a picture of what were obviously two sisters, one of whom looked college aged and the other junior-high aged, calling the older girl a MILF and speculating that the younger girl was her daughter. I said "if that older girl is the younger girl's mother, she must have conceived when she was about 8 years old."
