I work at a pharmacy and there's this fairly attracitve girl who works with me, she's a bit odd though because everytime she passes by me I notice she blinks really fast and normal speed any other time. She kept looking at me when I first got the job which was 4 days ago so I assume she likes/liked me. I tried talking to her a bunch of times but she always makes herself unavailable for me to talk to and when she does talk to me it's in like an 'irregular' high pitched tone...What does this all mean? Any help?

It sounds as though she's likely a very shy or introverted, and is probably uncomfortable in approaching/talking to people. I would try asking her to lunch, she'll probably be very nervous at first, but she may settle down and relax as time progresses.

I've thought about that and it seems like she has no problems with talking to guys, she always talks to like 3 guy friends that come in sometimes

From what you said, you are not a friend. I know girls that can talk to me about anything and never flinch, yet if a random guy asks them the time they get uptight.

True, but usually when I talk to girls they answer properly in a normal pitch and dont act weird around me. Maybe I just gross her out or something?

You're missing the point. It is probably not you, it's her. She pribably is afraid of "intimate" contact with unfamiliar males, and snce you haven't known her that long, you are unfamiliar.

what intimate contact? noone ever mentioned intimate contact, unless 'hey hows things' is 'intimate' contact.

When people like another person, they will usually talk in a higher pitch than normal.

Are you sure about that? the only time people use a higher pitched tone is when they're talking to little children, or maybe i'm wrong.
