Here was my train of thought:
Yesterday, <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0934902/"> Paul Winfield (LINK)</a>
who played Captian Terrell in Star Trek II died. So I was looking though the cast of<a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084726/"> Star Trek II (page on IMDB- LINK)</a> and clicked on the actor who played Kirk's son <a href="http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0125190/"> Merritt Butrick (Dr. David Marcus - LINK)</a> and saw that he died of AIDS back in 1989. Then I thought of all the other actors who have died of AIDS, Rock Hudson, Freddie Mercury, John Holmes…<a href="http://www.imdb.com/Find?select=Bios&for=AIDS">IMDB AIDS bio search (LINK)</a>

Can anyone name me female actresses that have died of AIDS? The only "famous" female I can think of is that woman who contracted the disease from her dentist. Even a google search gave me activists.

Kimberly Bergalis is the one who got it from her dentist.

Yeah, I was going to say Gia, too. She kind of opened up the eye's of America since she was one of the first (noteable) females to contract HIV.

(P.S. People don't die "of AIDS," they die from opportunistic infections and viruses.)

Paul Michael Glaser's (Starsky form Starsky and Hutch) wife and child died from it. Does that count or do you want direct celebrities?
