Neck Biting
 

Having recently gained a girlfriend (yeaaaa!) I have discovered a recent trend in myself to want to nibble on her, particularly her neck.

This is great, and she enjoys it...however I've been instructed to be more careful (the bruises I left were very visible...she got sick (unrelated) and the campus clinic thought she might have been trying to hang herself, as well as meetings that we had last week with the Dean of Students (unrelated to the clinic visit)).

Two questions: 1) Anyone else do this on a regular basis? I'm familiar with the whole hickey concept, but that's not the driving motivation here. I didn't do it to mark her or anything, I was just kissing...which turned to biting...which led to bruises on her neck. I was actually mortified when we realized that she was pretty bruised.

2) Can anyone recommend some viable alternative? I've been very careful since to keep nibbling (there) at an absolute minimum, but just kissing doesn't elicit the same response from either of us (not as fun for me, and not as stimulating for her).

Nibbling is indeed enjoyable, worse than hickeys though. Just use it more sparingly, nibble lighter.

Where To Bite on a Girl: Inner Thigh, Hips, Between her Breasts, Neck, Upper Back, and the most important one you must remember is the wrist. I have never figured this one out but all girls find it... very pleasing.

I will not even think of sleeping with a girl let alone dating her if she can't stand being bitten. I do it when ever get the chance. I had an X that wanted me to bite her till she bleed. Heaven I tell you... it was Heaven. Now, as we all know biting can leave bruises or in some cases scars. My X and I got into it one day and I was biting down on her wrist (told you)... normally when I tasted blood I would let loose a little and just suck but this day she told me to keep going. Well, she has a tattoo on her wrist... I took a chunk of it out with my teeth. She now has a nice sized scar on her wrist that she proudly shows people. Most of her firends know more about my teeth then they do me.

Remember... I'll eat anything.

Conscious or not, you're still marking her.

There are other places you can bite that don't turn her into a piece of property if they end up as hickeys. (See King's post above.)

We'll have to try that. Hickeys are not good for us (we meet with Vice Presidents and other Uni officials on a regular basis and would greatly prefer to be taken seriously).

I'll have to try some other locations...

I love to bite as well, though have to bow deferentially to the king up there...

In addition to the honourable gentleman's little list above, I feel attention must also be drawn to the biting of lips and tongue.

Only drew blood on a couple of girls, one was pretty minor, the other was pretty severe - but she was still wanting more (as she was, ahem, in ecstasy at the time) - when i stopped for reason's sake. She was left with a large mouth sized wound on her, umm, trapezius??? - thebit that goes between shoulder and neck - and bruising that didn't go away for weeks.

After it fully healed, she had me do it again. Oh the joys.

Couldn't the lady in question just invest in a good quantity of polar necks? scarf type attachments?

me personally i have never seen the appeal in biting....i know that when i really get into i tend to bite....but i don't like having marks or making them.....*shrug*

Its fun man...go for it....as soon as the blood starts coming stop but much as anythuing those marks can be a good marker to begin where you left off last time.

Hickeys are bad, kind of amateur. Go with the inner thigh!

Biting, clawing, it's all good. Just GENTLE dammit. It's more of the "gentle tickle" feeling you're going for, and not the "Cujo" feeling.

Anything below the neck, that has been mentioned, is a good biting spot. Thighs, breasts, ears, lips.

I like being gently bitten and I like to bite back. It depends on what the males neck looks like, how he smells that will entice me to bite hard enough to leave marks.

Yeah leaving hickys on necks isnt the best idea...but i love leaving hickys in spots that only she and i will see :) all over her thighs, especially inner thighs, on the bottom of the breasts, tummy, back, hips, mmmm....9 days till i see my gf, shes in for a treat :)

I used to be able to make my last girlfriend cum just by kissing her neck. So naturally I was doing that all the time. A by product of this was the marks on the neck and subsequent chastising by her mum. She was too embaressed to tell her mum it was at her request so she just let me keep getting the blame. The way I see it is it was worth it for the pleasure it instilled. Maybe its worth it for you too???

I find I normaly have good results with light chewing on the ankles and the back of the knees. One of the girls I used to date was really sprung on that. Worked like a charm every time. Just make sure not to bite to hard there.

I can't say that I like to have blood drawn, but biting just drives me insane. Nothing will push me over the edge to orgasm faster. In particular, the back of my neck, inner thighs, inner calves, and wrists.

There is nothing wrong with nibbling, but don’t go so far as to leave visible marks (that don’t go away in an hour or so) unless your partner is ok with it, and it sounds like they are not. so be nice, be playful but don’t be to hard. bit your self on the arm and get used to the pressure and the pain you make, get to a comfortable level and then try it with your partner. Remember both partners need to be enjoying them selves, if you are to rough, your partner will not enjoy it.


In my book, drawing blood is a bit too much, but nibbling and biting is just fine, pain is just another experience and should be enjoyed with the rest of life. And just remember accidents do happen so be careful, and be forgiving.

That makes it sound like all people who bite do so because they think of their SO's as property. The neck is one of many wonderful places to be bitten, and it happens to line up quite well in many sexual positions.

While we're at it, should we not wear wedding rings- or refer to them as our SO, or hold hands or kiss in public, because those are also forms of asserting ownership?

Classifying it in such a way seems a bit overboard.

My last boyfriend had a thing about biting as well, I was quite amazed that he had not left any marks. He would bite quite hard. Well, one day I payed closer attention(not getting lost in the sensation), and I realized that he may have bit hard but he would slowly move his bites to a different location. That was most likely why he didn't leave any marks. Try that.

My girlfriend also is into biting, and has passed this on to me, as well. We have a similar situation to Lunchbox7... she gets incredibly turned on by having her neck bitten. We definitely leave marks, but we try (not always successfully) to keep them below the neckline of our shirts. My suggestion would be for her to invest in some turtlenecks and you to invest in some shirts with collars, and keep the marks lower on the neck.

An odd side note... a bunch of my friends at school also are into biting, so we tend to actually show off our marks to each other... basically, the worse the bruise, the better. Drawing blood is too far for any of us (at least by biting) but we still get some pretty ugly looking marks on us (my girlfriend and I are currently in the lead ;)).

I have a rule that no marks are allowed to be made where other people can see them.... so those are the safe spots for anything. :) Besides, things are more.... interesting that way *sly smile

As a female, (because i haven't read many female posts up here in this thread), i'm developing more and more of a (i don't know if you'd call it fetish, but turn on at least) for a bit of teasing pain you know. Nothing hard core into S & M because that just doesn't do it for me, but there's just something about a lil sting that gets me really excited. I do'nt like the long hard biting as much as quick lil nips between kissing, and this goes for all over, not just the neck.

I wouldn't ever go as far as having blood drawn though, and luckily i don't bruise as easily as some girls.

If it's not sleeveless shirt weather, try biting her shoulder. It's lovely. Especially in the throws of passion...if I'm remembering correctly.

Well, it's eight months later, and the biting has stopped altogether. I wonder why that is??

I love being bit...anywhere and everywhere...and like OK said ESPECIALLY the wrists....and the middle of the back of my neck.

I like the sides of the neck to but I tend to mark up there very easily so we have to be careful and only do it on fridays...(under a full moon when the heather is in bloom ahahahaha j/k) and when I can wear turtle necks the next few days :)

More serious biting can develope into an s&m appreciaton. The eventuallity of biting and clawing is sometimes blood play (really interesting stuff, but be careful). Be mindful of taboo's but make your own rules when it comes to the bedroom. Enjoy each other in what ways you want. Jillian was right in perscribing turtlenecks and high collard blouses. Scarfs work well, too.

Not really into being bled to death in the sack. I do like a little rough play, light scratching and nibbling, but anything else is a bit much for me. Is she prone to bruise easily? This could be a lack of potassium in the diet. Bananas are an excellent source although I can just hear the posts that are going to follow... heh

I appreciate the biting thing, too. But if she DOES bruise easily, this could be something she wants to look into anyway. That was where my mind went when I first read this and I didn't see anyone else make a reference to this, so...

Biting turns me on. A lot. My friend and I were hanging out, flirting a bit, and she suddenly got on top of me, leaned over and bit hard into my neck. Zero to raging lustful caveman in one second.

I'm rather fond of biting, and being bitten. Alot of girls I know will just randomly come up to me in a bar or wherever we are and start biting my neck or other areas. It's great, and naturally I always return the favor ;)
