If a chick keeps telling you...
Ok...
if a chick keeps telling you stuff like, "i'm waiting to meet up this guy" and, "oh hey- yeah right now i'm over at this guys house" does it mean she's trying to make you jealous or somethin? cause thats whats happening to me... basically i went out with her for a little while and then stopped cause it wasn't going anywhere. but i mean, i still dont get why she'd volunteer that information without it being asked for unless she wanted to make me jealous. so i'm looking for outside oppinions/interpretations, cause mb i'm just trying to flatter myself in that i could get her feeling that way. thks |

She's trying to make you jealous... and it appears to be working. Next time she says something like that say, "Cool, I don't give a shit." She will probably stop or slap you. Either way... she knows how you feel.

Ya I gotta agree with Original on this one. Girls are like that they like to get emotional reactions. Kinda funny actually. I have to go with amge and just say something smart that says you really don't care, but really all this is gonna do is make her want you more. The whole the thing I can't have I want the most deal. If you really do want her to stop just tell her to stop. End it finish it and she will take the hint, all the being not caring act will do is make her want you more.

nah original, i'm not bein jealous here, otherwise i'd be the one callin her up and tellin her "yo- i'm at this girls house" and i've pretty much given her the "i dont care" line in more polite terms. i think i'm gonna hafta follw dabossy's advice and just tell her to stop. i'm just posting to see what other ppl have gone through and their oppinions/advice.
it'd be really funny though (in a mean, cruel, sadistic sorta way) if i were to call her up while getting it on with another girl and she could hear the moaning in the background. |

Just say "Oh yeah? You gonna eat his ass? Guys like that now you know." That should shut her up.

yeah i suppose that you could be like ' i am at______ doing____"but i would only do that if she calls you, doing it when you call her just sounds stupid.

It might not be a jealousy thing.
It could be her way of saying, "I'm not interested in you like that, see? I'm with, and interested in, other guys." In fact, that's almost exactly what I did at my friend's wedding. A groomsmen was hitting on us bridesmaids. And while he was pretty attractive, he's got a pregnant fiancé. So, at the reception, I pointed out one of my high school friends to him. "See him? He's hot." And he left me alone for the rest of the evening because he got the message.

an update- i haven't initiated anything with her at all and she hasnt gone out of her way to talk to me for awhile. so whether or not I was right in thinking she was jealous seems to be moot. |

ah well, ok. "a chick" wasn't particularly informative as to your relationship with her.
