Vaginal redness & red rash
I recently noticed on my gf that her pussy lips were alot redder than usual . she also has an odd redness on her inner thighs near her vagina but it extends about 2 or 4 inches down the thigh from it. She says its because her panties ride up in her crotch and rub against it and her legs. Ive never bothered to take note of much when it comes to women but since we have been in a long time relationship you tend to notice these things. could her explanation be true or are there other things that can cause this. the red marks on her thighs are kind of rounded and stand out a bit from her usual skin tone and look more like a kind of rug burn than a rash. any knowledge any of you might have on this would be appreciated. also this occured durin a time where he hadnt been funnly sexually active(i handt inserted my penis in her).
I wanted to thank all of you for giving me such great advice and info.I'll be the first to admit I dont know alot about what goes on with womens bodies and its cool to know a place like this exists where you an get a straight and honest answer. Her rashes have cleared up some and if the redness doesnt go away we're going to get them checked out. ty all again. Last edited by Temporarysanity; 03-05-2004 at 03:40 PM.. |

If it bugs her, she should go to a doctor. Lots of things can cause redness - friction, infection, whatever. I got horrible welts from too-tight jeans the first summer I lived in the south. Learned my lesson well!

Could be:
Razor burn (pseudofolliculitis barbae)/Ingrown hairs from shaving, or irritation from clothing. Try wearing loose cotton (like boxers). Heat rash/diaper rash. Make sure the clothes breathe so that heat can get out and air can get in. Try wearing loose pants and such. STI. See a doctor and get a professional diagnosis.

Most likely it is from the pants/panty friction going on all day long. I know someone like that and that's the cause 99% of the time.

Honestly, I would try putting on antiperspirant on her inner thighs. If it goes away in a couple days after that, its probably prickly heat. Even though I am a guy, I know that if I am gonna be sweaty all day that I need to do that or else

If I ever get a chafe, I use Balmex - the diaper rash creme. It really works. This is ok for thigh skin well outside of the privates area. If she really does have redness and a problem in her vag. then she really should go to doc. She could have something wrong. Some of these infections can be serious without having significant symptoms.

Most definately go to the Doc, if it worries you in the least. No sense of having the "wait and see" attitude, sometimes that's too late.
Good advice Motdakasha. Hope fully it gets better for her Temp.
