Just a little question...

It's all about the maturity of the person, not their age. People also have different adjustments, views and expectations to sex depending on their upbringing, experience and childhood etc
It's been my experience, that girls of around 18, wouldn't be that uptight or squeamish about it , but it also depends on the nature of the conversation. Guys (like myself :p) often get a bit too farcical or lewd about sex as well (especially around teenage years, when they're just learning about sex and going a million miles an hour) which is just unnecessary. |
dude it is all kinda gross...
i mean sticking your tongue into another persons mouth... /having their tongue in yours.... lol doesnt stop me at all... |

I agree with Sleepyjack on this one.

Sex is dirty, but only if done right.

At that age, she could still be brainwashed by her upbringing. You never know what her parents or others filled her head with when she was growing up. That combined with a bad sexual experience could make it difficult for her to work through it. Sometimes these things work themselves out quickly and sometimes not. My wife was a virgin on the day of our wedding and had tons of misinformation about sex put in her head by her mom (who didn't like sex at all). The wedding night and really the first few months weren't really great for us in that department. It has literally taken years to get her completely comfortable with sex, but now that she is, it is fantastic.

Or she's just not comfortable. A lot of people take time to develope a comfort level with themselves, and this might be why as well. But my guess is her parents/parent never spoke about the subject, and she thinks it must be icky, or she's very religous, or both.

I agree with sleepyjack as well.. But it does depend on the girl.. I have friends my age (23) that have problems even talking about basic girl stuff with me or other girls.. She has a big problem with sexual discussions even on a clinical level. We have to get a few drinks in her for her to open up. With here it is becoming an psychological issue..

yea, depends on the girl.
and no i'm not even going to mention what *i* was doing/comfortable with at 18 yrs of age. :o |
Are you sure it's just not an excuse to not kiss you?
Not saying it is, but it's a possibility. To answer you, it's pretty uncommon. Most girls I know are freaks :p |
