I was thinking about going to one of the performances last year or the year before, with my mum and sister. Unfortuantly it seems there are no shows in the Perth (aus) area :(

Yeah, Valentines day is 12 days before my girlfriend leaves for 5 months to go to Germany on study abroad. :(

V-Day, the day of love. Anyone know of a good way to do something special on this day? Something creative and romantic?

For our first anniversary, I gave my wife a 365 page book. On each page I had written something that I loved about her. It took a lot of time. It might be a bit much for valentines day.

I also gave her an envelope filled with coupons for different things. I used a really nice envelope and really nice card stock. Some of the coupons were:

sexual favors
backrubs
footrubs
dinner and a movie
a dinner made by me
completely cleaned house by me
Ironed shirt/skirt by me
etc.

I told her that she could use them at any time no questions asked.

sapiens, both of those things are so sweet and thoughtful. I'd choose something like that over jewelry or roses any day. Chocolate, however, is always appreciated. (no Godiva though, it's sooo overrated)

The Vagina Monolgues are definately worth seeing! Go with a good group of friends that you discuss it with afterwards!
