My girlfriend and I have sex quite often. We get in the perfect sort of mood, you know foreplay and all that good stuff, then we start to have sex. We go slw at first then faster and harder..like most. Then the problem hits..I come and seeing that we don't use condoms, I have to wipe it of a bit so I dont put in a "wet-stick". And during that process, it becomes limp. After this happened a few times, I became a little worried and asked my girlfriend if she knew what was going on. She of course didn't and that is one of the reasons I am posting today. She had me try sticking it back in right after I had came (she is on BC) and what seemed to happen was it became soft inside her. What is going on? Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

How old are you? It could be a medical problem...

Um... after coming it is normal for the penis to go limp. Staying hard is less common than going limp. With that said, if you want to stay hard, you could always go for the almighty cock-ring. I'd suggest just taking breaks and going at it again... or masturbating earlier in the day, it usually takes longer to come if you already have earlier. In any event, the best advice I have is to not worry about it too much, enjoy being together.

Thank you for the replies will (read your signature) & starbum. My current age as you have asked is 18 and I feel somewhat embarrased by the "limp-effect" and as will has stated it is normal. But is it normal for an 18 year old?

Yes... totally normal. I could tell you all about the nervous system and the endocrine system and how the male sexual reproduction system isn't like the female reproduction system because men need time to recharge.

Here, think of this: have you ever came a few times in a day and your ball just ached for it? Well, girls don't have that, its a little easier for them to go longer unless muscles start giving out or something like that. That you're coming so hard that you can't stay hard - she should be happy, that means it is good (better than masturbation, I assume, where can probably keep going until the cows come home). Don't worry about it, unless you can't get hard at all.

Another question: how long does it take to get hard again after that happens? If you can get hard again within an hour or two then you're fine... if it takes a lot longer, then I might start to get worried.

Will...it normally takes about 30 minutes or less..depends on what she is doing. Thank you. This has been bothering me for quite a bit and makes me feel good this is at least normal.

Oh, going limp AFTER dispencing the soft ice cream. That isnt uncommon at all. I thought it was going limp before that... that would be concerning if it happened all the time.

it's called a refractory period, and it's quite normal. Either give it some time between going at it, or take care of yourself earlier like Will suggested.
