Camel toe
Just got back from the university pool where I happened to see a few of my female friends. There was one girl there whose name is Emily that I know from a few classes -- she's totally smoking beautiful. Great personality the whole thing...
She's in a bikini and as we're talking ... I notice, in my peripheral vision, what appeared to be the camel toe from hell. I figured she might want to do something about it (I'd tried not to notice or appear as if I was looking at it by making eye contact that she reciprocated.) so I told her that I was going to go get a towel [for me] and then come back. When I returned, she still had the same situation... as I was returning, I glanced down before she knew I was approaching and saw that she definitely had a cameltoe going on. What's the deal? Can women not feel that when it happens? Don't care? It was mind strain to keep from showing my "interests" from showing up through my suit. Quickedit: Her suit wasn't particularly tight or small. It wasn't intended to be that way, I'm fairly certain... Quickedit #2: I didn't mean to imply that I was getting a towel for her. That was for me. That read like I was getting it for her.

In all seriousness though ... it was a deep one. Without generalizing, I can't understand how a woman wouldn't know or care in the same way that I wouldn't want an erection showing through my suit... unless she's into exhibition, but I highly doubt it.
Back to my original questions: What's the deal? Can women not feel that when it happens? Don' care?

That is hilarious!
The year that I spent at the dorms there was this basketball player who walked around with cameltoe half the fucking year. She would wear those thin little cotton shorts everywhere, with her beaver sticking out clear as day. The bad part was, she was a basketball player, and about 6'5 ish -- trust me, it brings everything closer to your line of sight. PS maybe she was hoping that you'd notice?

I wouldn't dare make her feel uncomfortable though. Maybe I'd make the jokes with someone else, but who would want her to stop? I, certainly, don't. lol!

She probably didn't want to err.. adjust... in front of you. I dunno....
phyzix.... In non-crude terms, a camel toe is sort of a wedige for a girl. In the front. Get it? (edit-And what the Evil Milkman said ) There was a skit on Conan O'Brien staring Camel Toe Annie. I still haven't recovered from seeing that.

Girls: any response? I would also assume that this would be obvious, but I don't have that equipment?
I'd honestly like to hear from y'all.

Well, I just responded
I've never been in that sorta situation. That I know of anyway! It's an awkward thing to adjust. Its happened while I was swimming or whatever, and you just sorta fix it. Guys think nothing of adjusting themselves all the time. Girls tend to be more discrete. I guess I dont really have much of an repsonse.

You should of asked her if you could remove it with your teeth.... or maybe not. I don't know about you guys but a cameltoe really drives me crazy. If I would of been there she might of fixed it when I pulled out my camera and starting shooting.

I think I'd notice, but now you've got me wondering...maybe I've had cameltoe at the gym/beach/pool and never noticed. I'll have to give myself a deliberate cameltoe wedgie and see if I feel it, or else I'll be walking around checking all the time

I have noticed it if it's exceptionally tight. In a swimsuit I think it wouldn't be as uncomfortable because the material is a lot more stretchy and thinner than some other clothes.
Also a lot of people on first introduction kindof think of me as more of the prudish type because of my strict religious background and religious degree. I am quite the exhibitionish around the right audience though. She migh be one without you even realizing it. Glad you got to enjoy this girl though.

OK, totally off subject but I have a great story relating to camel toes...
There's this really dumb girl I know named Kathleen. And when I say Kathleen is dumb, I mean I'm suprised she's survived to adulthood. But anyway, one night when she was hanging with some friends of mine, she turns to her boyfriend and said, "God, Chris, you have camel toes!" Everyone asked her to explain what she meant and she said, "Isn't that where you have one toe that's really big?" That's what she actually thought people were talking about when they refered to "camel toes" So anyway...I can usually feel a "frontal wedgie", but maybe she just didn't notice, or didn't feel like picking in in public. Swimsuits can be a bitch.

Well, speaking from my experince, I can never actually feel if I have camel toe or not. However, many times I'll walk past a mirror when I'm wearing little cotton shorts to bed, and notice that I do have it.
It really doesn't bother me, its gonna happen, there's nothing I can do about it, so I generally just don't think about it. If I notice it, I'll adjust, but I don't let it get to me all that much.

lady and raeanna74 are right. It's the innocent girls that sneak under your radar.
Or, as others have said, she could have just been too shy to start pulling fabric away from her labia while you were there watching. Though you DID leave to get the towel, giving her an opportunity . . . . I think she either didn't care, or cared and wanted you to view. |

As for the original question. Most of the time I feel it. I usually wear shorts over my swimsuit, so that typically doesn't happen when I'm swimming. If it does, no one knows...
