Okay, my Lover and I both prefer anal sexx0r to normal, but I wanna know if there are any dangers of internal damaging if you do it too much or too little...eep, I don't really wanna be a grandma and have explosive pooping or something.

"Explosive" pooping is one of the side effects. I read that somewhere, can't remember how or why that happens. Also, there's quite a few bacteria that resides in human being's anus. It can lead to STD.

If you and your lover really wants to do it, I strongly suggest condom, sure doing it bare might make it feel better but better safe than sorry

The bacteria inside the colon, themselves, don't make for STDs in the traditional sense of the term. They can, however, cause bladder and vaginal infections among women if their partners go from anal to vaginal sex without washing first. Good hygeine, in this regard, just makes good sense.

There are reports that the anus, if stretched too far, can lose its original elasticity and lose its original tension. That might be the explosive diaherrea you were mention above.

I forgot to mention that there also is a risk of infection for the male partner who penis was inside the colon of the other.

Anyways: My boyfriend and I prefer anal sex to normal as well and we do it A LOT. And I've never experienced any internal damages or infections on my boyfriend's penis. I read in a health magazine once that it's actually good for your rectum muscels to get stimulated during anal sex.

As for the infections of the penis goes, it really only depends on it's "skin condition". Some men finds that their skin on their forhead get easily irritated if they are exposed to too much lubrication or even humidity. Others are unaffected by it. But if u wanna be sure then please go ahead and use a condom... :D

On one of those sex shows (Don't even ask why I was watching it). It's quite true, having anal sex if done improperly can damage the muscle that is designed to keep the shit inside your colon. If the muscle were damaged slightly, it can just fail to keep the shit up inside you.

Maybe by not going slowly enough, not using enough lube, not stopping when it hurts the other, and causing tears!!!

I've heard something along the lines of if some rectal tissue becomes torn, then crap moving pass the tear makes the tear wider and deeper because crap is said to be acidic.. Eventually, the tear will work it's way into the vaginal canal and some crap comes out through there.

It kinda sounds like it might be just a myth, but you may want to read up and see if it's true or not.

Like ratbastid said, relax, it's just a matter of precaution that nobody have mentioned in this thread. If I would you, I'd talk to a doctor about it. Alot of us heard stories from others, from the media and online. Like I said, some can be bias and untrue. So, at the moment, talking it over with your Doctor is really the best thing.

One thing i will mention, anal sex without a condom, can still yield pregnancy. I know that sounds absurd but 8% of all teenage unplanned pregnancies were from couples that reporting having only practiced anal sex. That's to say fluids, do not always remain in the anal cavity the way you would think they do.

If you're hoping that anal sex is a good alternative to condoms, I'd say it's not.

Besides the obvious (moving everything) take a warm bath before hand as it relaxes your muscles. During use lots of lots of water based lube, with a condom.

As long as both parties clean up after the deed, and as long as plenty of lube and patience is used everything should be fine.

i've heard that repeated anal sex (over long periods of time) can eventually wear out the sphincter (ass muscle) and cause loose bowels or uncontrollable bowels. so ask a doctor or do some med research online. check webmd or something. good luck.

The symptom you've described, fecal matter in the vaginal canal, my Human Sexuality professor called it anal leakage. I have no idea if all the stuff you described before that is in any way reflective of reality. I couldn't find any decent info on anal leakage because I keep coming up with Olestra related links (it causes anal leakage). However, those sites use the term anal leakage to mean incontinence, so I don't know if anal leakage is synonymous with incontinence, or if they are just misusing the term.

The next closest term that is similar in definition is an anal fissure. There is no known cause for fissures, but constipation and stress are implicated. None of the FAQ sites for anal fissure mention anything about anal sex and this is apparently more frequent than most people think, but they don't seek treatment for it.

As for the explosive poop/loose rectum thing (it's called incontinence), that is not a long term effect of regular anal sex. The only way I know this can happen is if you injure the receiver's anus.

FeelGood's link that says 8% of pregnancies result from anal sex doesn't cite a source, so it's quite possible that the statistic was made up. I don't trust it and the page is copyrighted in 1998, so it is outdated in any case. I couldn't find any statistics of pregnancies due to anal sex, but it is important to remember that you can't get pregnant through the anus. What happens is ejaculate ends up near the vagina for several reasons after having unprotected anal sex. Technical Virgins: Unprotected anal sex is not a reliable means of birth control!

If done properly, anal sex isn't going to have any weird side effects. See below.

Anal fissures are cracks and cuts in the tissue of the anus. Can happen for a variety of reasons.

ok I can't tell you how many times me and my loverboy have had "improper anal sex" if that's what you'd like to call it. We only use a bit of spit for lube, we always go fast because that's the best and we rarely stop even though it hurts because i like it that way (the hurting feeling is what makes me come). And so after 2 years of regular anal sex I still have no side effect and my ass is as tight now as it's ever been. Maybe you think that I'm just lucky that my loverboy's penis hasn't hit and damaged something inside me or maybe that I must just be blessed with a hard-core-I-can-take-everything kinda ass. Think what ever you want. Personally I think it proves all the myths wrong and that you can easily have regular anal sex without worrying about it ;)

If you're enjoying it and not gettin hemoroids I wouldn't worry. Just never ever EVER go from anal to vaginal before washing. It can give the girl a nasty Bacterial Vaginosis that CAN if left unchecked result in uterin infections and much more serious complications. It can get really nasty - take my word for it. I've been battling BV off and on for a year or so since the first time I tried anal and it doesn't want to go away permanantly.
