My own helpful signs to figure out if a girl likes you (note: use at your own risk)

She smacks you when you leer hello.
She's assisted you in developing an immunity to mace, you get sprayed so frequently.
She sticks her hand down your pants and yells at you to quit toying with her and have sex already.

I'm sure there's many more I'm forgetting, but it's a quick list to get you started.

Seriously, though: Ask her on a date, flirt a bunch, and observe her reaction. If she's not interested, it'll be pretty obvious.

Who cares if she likes you? She may think she likes you now and change her mind later. She may think she doesn't like you now and change her mind later. Same goes for you! Interact.

That site is actually quite accurate, IMO. When I was reading it, I noticed that it's things I do, though it's on a subconscious level.

I am bad at this as well... I had to be pretty direct with my current g/f...

I put my arm on her waist (took some balls on my part too...)
She snuggled in to fit under my shoulder.

A past biology teacher once said, if you're in a bar or a club or something, a trick is to yawn, and if the girl yawns too, it means she was looking at you...which might mean she likes you...

Talk to her. Spend time with her. Be friendly, but not creepy. Smile. Remember, we all enjoy our personal space... Offer your company if she's alone. Pay attention to her moods, always have something nice to say. Get her talking to you on a regular basis. She might like you already. Be nice, not lewd. Settle for friendship if you must, it can always grow later.

I just had a conversation with my roomie's bf about this...he said the best way to tell if a girl likes you is to bring a guy friend, because he'll probably be able to tell better than you can. He said that guys can't tell when a girl likes them, but they can tell when a girl likes someone else.

Youre right, SabrinaFair. Thats worked with my group of friends so many times its ridiculous. I had no idea this girl liked me, and all my friends thought I was a fool because I had no idea. She ended up going out with me over the summer. I've also seen girls drop hints to some of my friends that they never pick up.

Ya, its true how we notice who other people are interested in, but are blind when it comes to ourselves. I guess its a competitiveness built into us.

She laughs even though she knows she has been ridiculed or insulted.

In my case, I didn't notice any signals my girlfriend was sending, or else ignored them thinking I was imagining them. It finally took my friends and her friends to hammer sense into me and go "hey look, dumbass, she likes you. NOTICE."

However, I always end up being the guy who everyone else turns to for "hey, does she like me?" because I'm good at noticing that for other people.

If she rips your pants off, it's a fair sign that she probably likes you.

Most of the time I think you can tell if someone likes you just in the body language and the things they do when around you. I know when me and my girlfriend had our first date we made alot of eye contact and there was tons of unnessary smiling and laughing. No uncomfortable silences at all. Just try to read that person and it shouldn't be hard to tell, since then we have been together 2 years strong :) Good Luck !!

It is sarcastic and cynical as hell, but holds true for 99% of cases. And I would rather make assumptions based on 99% of cases than hoping that 1% girl will show up in my life.
