History and evolution of sex
 

I was just wondering today, about when people started to try all these different things we have related to sex. For a while, we would've just had "normal sex" as a means to procreate and maintain the specices, although i wonder who was the first person to try anything esle, as a pure means of sexual pleasure.

At what point in evolution would we have deviated from sex to procreate to sex as love/fun/other pleasure instead of the underlying reason for it.

I was thinking, who was the first guy (not personally, more so at what time period in our evolution) to get a blow job and how it would've have happened.
And then from there, how did we get into all these other fetishes and sexual positions and everything else sexual?

What and who was the genius to come up with all this stuff and knowledge we sorta take for granted today. For all the guys, imagine what it'd be like if we had no knowledge of a BJ or the brian power to conceive such an act.
And then for the girls as well, what if guys didn't know anything about oral sex?
there'd be a lot of dissapointed and depressed women then, i'd imagine ;)

I imagine a lot of it has to do as our own evolution and that we're (hopefully) getting smarter so thats how all these things and ideas came to fruition.

For reference, do any other animals in the animal kingdom do anything remotely like us, like sex other than procreation? i hear dolphins are the other mammals that have sex for pleasure, although anything else known?

Bonobos have sex for pleasure, and do all the things humans do. I think oral sex has always been around in humans. If you can figure out normal sex, everything else is fairly obvious.
