Quick question..
if you are sexually active, what is your situation?

my situation is

my girlfriend is on cyclin? (sp?) pills and i finish inside her.

I had been reading up on them, and they are 95-99% accurate.

Statistically, if we have sex 100 times that means theres a chance between 1-5 times they will not work? We both dont want her getting preganent, so should i be extra safe and use a rubber?

We are married and do not want anymore kids. Until I get the v-sec we are using condoms. My wife experienced some minor side-effects with the pill.

Inside, if, of course, we are having intercourse. A good way to get around the stats is to *do different things* other than just intecourse :)

She's on depo btw, so I chose the 'w/out condom w/ pill" option.

We started using condoms in addition to the pill, just to help with my wife's main objections to having sex, mainly worrying about pregnancy, and the mess.
Whatever it takes. I like having the additional piece of mind, rather than leaving it all up to the pill.

I know it's not very safe but I really hate using condoms, so I just use the old porn star pull out when I'm done. I'm not married and don't need kids right now so I try to avoid coming anywhere near the baby making place.

Nope, that's an improper use of statistics. They are saying that 1 to 5 percent of women who are on the pill and sexually active will get pregnant; this has nothing to do with the frequency of sex. Probably either forgetting to take pills, or medicinal interactions, or that the woman's body chemistry doesn't agree with the pills.

I chose the pill without dom option.. She wouldn't have it any other way.. lol

RedLemon is right. When I was back in chemistry and we found a experiment that worked in 'theory' all the time say had a 100% turn out you always had to add that 2% for human error, so I think really that when they say that the pill only works 98% of the time, that the 2% is only there for human error.

in my last relationship it was inside with condom usually... and it was gonna become no condom and just pill... but didnt make it there...

95% of the time, I ejaculate inside my girlfriend who is on the pill. The other 5% I pull out when she forgets her pill.

The pill is still 99.9% effective, WHEN taken correctly. So I guess this depends on if she can take it correctly or not,

Oh boy (or girl?). That pre-come can be fairly concentrated with sperm. I wouldn't be surprised if she were pregnant now. It would probably be a good idea to look into legitimate birth control now.

I'm too paranoid to not use a condom, even though the girl may be on the pill.

my g/f experienced some fairly serious side effects on the pill, so its condoms for me.

My gf keeps forgetting to take the pill, so condoms for me, damn!

Just a quick note on the stats...
When they say the pill is 99%+ effective, they mean that of 100 women having sex for a year (average 100 times) there would be 1 pregnancy (for 99%); 0.5 pregnancies (for 99.5%) etc...

So 99% means you'd get 1 pregnancy for every 10,000 times you have sex; and a lot of pills (used correctly) claim better results than that!

Since the Mrs. isn't on birth control and we rarely use condoms, I pull out. She'll usually suck me off or I'll cum on her titties. I'm sure as hell NOT gonna complain about that! :D :lol:

I like her to jump up and down afterwards. (joke). Seriously condoms are only 60% effective. This percentage goes up when using lube. While the pill is a lot safer the condom by itself is still pretty risky.

I have had alot of sex with the same girl who was not on the pill and i was not wearing a condom (Except for once) I like to think i have an average sperm count...I just pulled out everytime...Works like a charm for me.

Well, Even condoms are not 100% safe...I know 9 times out of 10 they are, But there is still a risk.

If she did end up getting pregnant, I would just deal with it.

Another reason why i don't wear condoms is because i can't function with them on...You should know what i mean.

Some people had said their SO has trouble remembering the pill should look into the Ring(you need to only remember to take it out once a month) or Depo shot.

my ex was on the pill and i used some non latex condoms cause she was allergic to latex. !warning! those things bust open !warning! Luckily they never did bust open when i was cuming and i always had another on me. after we got tested we tried it a couple times with no condom but never even came close to climax.
