wont it grow back really strong and tough?
if you keep doing it... i am still only 19, so i don't really have any definitive hair on my chest atm, only a snail trail. i guess the hardest thing to do is the waxing ;) |
The growing back thick, more hair, a total myth. I would however, advise against it. Wax once, and you have made a life commitment. It hurts like an SOB, you can get rashy, it sucks, trust me I tried it.

Less chest hair makes for more tongue bathing.
Plus, girls like smooth skin, so I say go for it. |
hell, by the time I was 16 I had very definitive chest hair. kinda sucked. I shave occasionally, but I wish I could wax without all of the pain :D

I agree: Smooth chest = Sexy and lickable.
Shaving would be worse than waxing, though it would hurt less. With waxing you have a much lower chance of getting red itchies (especially if you get it done professionally). It won't grow back tougher or thicker. In fact, it will grow back in brand new strands of hair, so it'll feel softer at first and go back to normal if you let it grow out again. The fact that it returns to normal means it's not a life long commitment (unless you decide you like the wax job!) Good luck. :) |
I've done that Laser-thing...... after 1 year it works fine... but it was pretty expensive, about 2000 bucks..... but it was worth it, I feel much better now!
|
As much as the smooth chest might good, it will hurt like a BITCH. :(
|
Well, I'm not a woman, but I would suggest just leaving it alone. I used to shave my legs when I raced bicycles. It is a pain in the ass to keep up with it (then again I only shave my face twice a week). And the thing about it growing back even thicker, that really is a myth. It grows back exactly as it was before.

I'm a guy and I'm not hairy. I like it that way. I don't like hair. I'm not sure how women feel, but too much hair is a bad thing.
Edit* Shave/wax if you want to. Hair grows back. |
Smooth=Good
Hairy=Bad |
