So I'm a guy, and not a particularly big guy, but no 100 pound skinny-assed kid either. And my lover is a small woman, but pretty damn strong by the physical nature of her job. But jeez, I get beat up sometimes during sex. It's not a BDSM thing, or even a sexual dominance thing, we'll both take the lead at times. However I've walked out of her apartment with raw scratches all over my body, immense bruises on my chest, and lips raw from being bitten while kissing.

I'm not complaining, mind. This is good sex. Just a little hard on my ageing body.

Communicate and suggest she lighten up, or learn to accept a certain level of abuse. :D

Choose the codeword right and it won't spoil the moment the same way as saying 'oi too rough!' would.

yeah using a codeword is central in really rough sex, now you dont plan this out obviously , its just how you two do things together than it might be a good idea to exert force on her. so if she starts to scratch your chest ... grab her wrist (dont attack her!!!! just do it playfully and sexually, if she likes it rough, then she should like to feel your strength as well) remember you can be aggressive while being defensive

Sounds like you're having really good sex. If you get to the point that you need to slow down or take a break, use a pre-arranged safe-word. Something that won't be shouted out in passion, like "Armadillo," or "Rush Limbaugh." Even if the other doesn't want to stop, those two can really kill the mood.

Scratching and all the ...uh...love bites are actually (so Ive read) Markings that partners sometimes do to mark their territory..To say to others :"She/He's Mine..off limits". Very common thing, but I think your woman is really posessive..lol..jk..But yeah talk to her or at least cut ner nails and put a hannibal like mask on her..hahahaha! *sigh* seriousely...talk.

As long as it doesn't happen every time, I say its OK to have a few reminders, but if it happens on a regular basis, then limits should/must be established. I, at times, encourage this type of behavior to where her limits are.
P.S and as long as it doesn't show when wearing normal clothes.

When I leave the bedroom covered in lightly bleeding scratches, that means it was damn good sex :thumbsup:
