A friend of mine mentioned going to a strip club next week, seeing as how I just turned 21, he thought it was about time for a guys night out. I've never been to one before. Prepare me, oh wise ones. What do I need to know to make the most of my first journey :cool:

Also if you end up wanting to get a private dance, don't settle for the first girl that asks you. Watch the girls to get a feel for who gives the best lap dances and then ask that one.

Now I'm not old enough to go but according to others the drinks are mighty expensive. And... tell them it's your first time maybe they'll do something special for you.

The above tips are useful. Namely:
- Don't jump into things. Check out all the girls before you get a dance
- Carry singles. Lots and lots of singles.

Also, don't be afraid to leave if the place sucks. I've been to my share of good strip clubs as well as bad ones. I gave every bad one a chance, but I knew that there was a certain point where it wasn't going to get any better, and I just left.

I've been to strip clubs that were very memorable, and ones where all I could think about when I left was I wish I had my money back, and I wonder if I should burn my clothes or just wash them.

Get lap dances, but not the "back room" thing. It's just a really long lap dance. Some places they will try to grind on you till you cream your pants, but it's pretty tough to get into sex through a thick layer of denim. If you're gonna go for this, at least wear thin, soft pants :p.

Take the cash you want to spend for the night (those girls can suck money out of you like you couldn't believe) and leave the ATM/Credit Card at home.

They don't like you, and they're not gonna fuck you, they just want their money. Go with that in mind and have a good time.

i'm in the small minority of men who don't like strip clubs. I went once to check it out, was not impressed with the whole situation. go, see if you like it (chances are you'll love it) and enjoy yourself.

Well, I've only been once at the invite of a female friend, so I can't offer much advice. Just be nice and tip the ladies well - they aren't taking off their clothes for the fun of it.

If they don't get nude, then no lap dance. I was in Chicago over the weekend, and the club we went to, can't remember the name, the girls wore thongs and pasties that looked like nipples. No lap dance for us. It was a bachelor party. Where I live, the city council enacted a "law" that the girls can not touch you, and had to be 3 feet away. That really sucks, but somehow the clubs have gotten around this.

Take plenty of $ in the form of 1's, 5's and 10's. To really throw the girls off, take a 2 dollar bill, they ususally don't know what it is, and when the do, they'll pay a little more attention to you.

I've only been to one club, The Admiral in Chicago. It is full nude, so no alcohol. It's also pretty expensive.....the girls don't take 1's at all. The minimum "dance" is $5, better one for $10. Plus $20 to get in (which includes 2 drink tickets for non-alcoholic drinks).

One night I was there for a bachelor party. It was a Thursday night, and there were more strippers than patrons. Pretty weird.

Man girls with the nice and roundest ass give the best lapdances. Just like grind right into damn. hmm be right back.

Strip clubs are like normal bars, sometimes you find lots of friendly girls, sometimes you find not so friendly girls. The difference is, in a normal bar, the girls try to hide the fact that they like you behind this guise of liking you, at a strip club, you know that the girls are only talking to you for your money.

That being said, I have met and become "friends" with a few strippers in my day. :)

It isn't that hard to have sex with a stripper without paying for it. Just go in there more than a couple of times and you become a regular. When you become a regular, you end up partying with the girls after hours (nothing like doing shooters at 4 am). After that anything can happen. I've become "friends" with several strippers before I got married. That's not to say I would ever marry one of them :lol:

I got a lap dance at one once. I had some things in my shirt pocket, she took them out and started to do her thang. When she finished, she put the things back in my shirt pocket along with a condom. "Oh, that's not mine" I said.

It took an hour for me to realize that this was a signal! doh! I've come to realize that these girls drop all kinds of hints if they are into doing a little extra for a little extra cash...so be on the look out for that.

-Get your cash before you go to the club, unless you like paying a shitload in ATM fees

-You can trade in your money for 1's at the club

-Don't get a dance with the first girl that comes up to you

-If you want action, look for a girl that looks a little desprite. Your money will go further.

I'm not actually proud of this, but I spent plenty of time in titty bars a few years ago... I learned more about them than I wanted to. I am still friends with the managers at one of the clubs locally so it is nice to go back occassionally and still get treated nice. Anyways...

1) Girls will come sit on your lap with asking you. Most of the time, they are less desirable. Do not be afraid to tell them you aren't interested. If they act mad, dont sweat it. They pick on weak people. If they get mad and you cave in and let them stay, they won.

2) Dont sit on perverts row (right next to the stage). It looks like fun, but you will get less action. Pick a spot towards the back or side where the dances can be a little more private.

3) You dont have to tip the dancers much. It's fine to go up and give them a dollar or two to get a closer look, but you are not required to tip every girl. I MIGHT go up to the stage once a night. Usually you can just look at the girls while they are roaming the club.

4) Look for girls that give guys multiple dances. There is a reason the guy is paying $20 over and over again for the dances. She must be doing something right.

5) Dont let a girl come up when a song starts and dance for you. Make her sit with you a little bit and find out about her. You might have to buy her a drink but it is better than wasting $20 on a bad dance.

6) When you pick a girl to dance for you, ask her up front what she allows. Even as the song is going, talk to her. If she doesn't feel threatened by you, she will let you do alot of things. Girls will make moves to get your hands and mouth close to their tits and ass. Ask if you can grab their ass or ask if they mind you grabbing their tits. Dont make a big deal about it, but usually if they dont mind they will put your hands there for you.

7) If you liked the dance and want a second one, wait one song between the dances. Songs are fast. Make sure you get the most for your money.

8) The number 1, numero uno, thing is DONT FALL IN LOVE. No matter how much you drink, try to control yourself. These girls know every trick how to get your money. Some will sleep with you and some might blow you, but the majority wont. Being that it is your first time, they will probably be able to tell it.

Hope this crap helps. If you were in Austin, I could show you some fun places. As stated above, if the talent sucks, run away. Dont ever feel obligated to give your money away.

i am with daoist. I've been once, but it wasn't particulary enjoyable and only really stayed for about 20mins. I mainly went under peer pressure i guess, but it was after the Tool concert so i had an incredibly open mind at the time, that said, still didn't enjoy it that much. Most of my other friends really enjoy it though.

Dude, I think it's 18 in both the US and Canada. I went to a club in Canada at 19, and drank like a fish, since that's the legal drinking age. The dancers in Canada are awesome.

Sorry, rant time. Stop generalizing Canada. There are hundreds of different strip clubs in Canada. Just because one club had nice girls does not mean all clubs have nice girls. The dancers in your club were awesome, not the dancers in Canada. We have over $30 million people and more than one strip club.

LOL, I'm from the US but I was thinking about saying the same thing. I went to a restraunt in Canada with a friend once and the dumbass asks the waitress "what's it like being from another country?". Seriously I can't think of a more idiotic thing to say.

There are so many different places that offer different things. For sure be cool and pick the best one and not get TOO anxious by seeing naked girls dance....there are some great dancers out there but aboid the seedy places...they are nasty!!!

I'm 23 and just went to my first strip club with a friend a few weeks ago. I have to say, my views on strip clubs were "why look when I can't touch" but after having gone, it was fun as hell. I got to look and they got to touch, which is cool. Got a few lap dances which were awesome as the joint was full nudity. When you sit by the stage, between each dancers set, they would come get tips and depending one the tip, they rub their boobies in your face. Good times. :crazy: :D

My only suggestion is LOTS of $1s and $20's if your gonna get private dances.

One of my cousins manages a classy strip club and runs it quite well. If any of the men step out of line or try to touch the ladies without permission from her, he's booted out without question.

Remember, this is their job not a free for all. They are dancing for cash, so make sure you take plenty of it. You don't have to feel obligated to tip all the girls, just the ones you want around more.

I know the rules for lap dances varies from location to location. Some let you touch, some don't.

I've only been once, on my bday last year, and I asked the dancer what I could and could not do, she looked at me and said "anything you want, just don't touch my cookie"... "cookie"... can't look at one now without laughing... Anyway, what are you supposed say when she's gyrating all over you? Thanks? Just sit there and grin? Moan a little??

I hope you weren't referring to me with your rant! I've been to plenty of clubs in many different Canadian cites, and I've found them much better than clubs in the US. I certainly wasn't generalizing all of Canada.

If you'd like for me to generalize Canadians, I'll be more than happy to. I used to work with Canadians over the phone, every day for 5 years, and traveled to many different cities to meet with clients.

The funny thing about me and strip bars is I enjoy the whole idea of going then actually getting there. The drinks before hand, the excitement of heading up there. But once I get there, I'm usually bored. Its like, "Wow, boobs and vagina. Are you guys ready to go home yet?"

Although whenever I visit my buddy in Florida we go to a strip bar each day. But that is just a ritual now.

I have a difficult being aroused in a strip club.

The women working on stage are professionals, and that's where I keep any "relationship". I've delivered pizzas to them while they are on break; a couple of times they've answered the door to the prep room topless, and I simply didn't get aroused.

But then none have been redheads, so that probably has something to do with it too. :D

I've been twice. Once to a very shabby place with only a couple of girls, the other to a very very nice place, with lots of gorgeous girls.

Neither time was I the least bit aroused. Maybe it's the whole public environment of it, but I wasn't turned on at all.

Have fun, and relax...the first time I went, I really didn't enjoy it 'cause I felt nervous and uncomfortable. When you realize that the girls are doing this for a living and are (usually) comfortable with you staring at them, you can enjoy it a bit more.

Forget the dancers, befriend the waitresses, they are your best chance in the place if you don;t have a ton of money.
