Question on joking about sex
 

I am curious about guy’s perspective on this situation:
My boyfriend often asks females he chats with on the Internet for sex or blowjobs. He says it in a way that might be taken as a joke and not threatening. I asked another male friend if he has ever asked females he chats with for sex or blow jobs and he said “no, never. A guy who would ask that actually wants sexual acts from the girl but says it in a joking matter so that if she refuses he can just say ha ha I’m joking.” I told my boyfriend that I didn’t think those “jokes” were funny, but he still is asking girls for sex acts. I was just curious if this is just something guys do to be funny, or if they are really trying to see what they can get.

its a combination of both, they are trying to get an idea of who would sleep with them, but it can be done as a joke to make the conversation more interesting

He sounds shady or at the least inconsiderate to you...

I joke like that with some of my chic friends online, and they joke back. But I would never do anything with them w/o my wife that is:D

Yeah, I joke around with my female friends, but not with strangers on the net.

I joke like that with girls in real life...it's just funny to get a rise out of somebody. Hell, I joke like that with my guy friends now and then, just to fuck with 'em. It hardly ever works though...they mostly just laugh and play along 'til it gets gross.

As for your boyfriend, I have no idea what's going on in his head. I just know that I personally don't joke like that with any kind of 'agenda.'

sounds like flirting to me, unless your boyfriend jokes that way even to women he'd be unattracted to (ugly)

In the words of dan savage DTMFA (dump the mother fucker already) He's doing something sexual towwards others, you don't like it, you tell him, and he keeps doing it. It doesn't matter if he really is convinced that he's just joking, now that you've discussed it, he can't claim ignorance, and you set the bar on what's ok for your partner to do and not do. It doesn't have to be rational, normal, or have any reason.
