The most interesting experience I had at a strip club was in Dallas. I was there, thinking like mrquackers, and looking grumpy.

I've only been to a strip club once, and well... I've just never been impressed with the idea. Instead, I found out which bars the strippers go to on Sunday nights. I went with a group of friends just this past weekend. First time I'd been to one since I turned 18 (23 now). We all had a pretty good time. It was a lot like hanging out with my buddies everywhere else except there was an added bonus of naked girls hanging around.

I've only been to a few "jamborees" in Canada, but they were pretty fun. They're basically Saturday afternoons where a crummy bar that has a crummy stage hires strippers to come in and dance. At the best of the ones I went to, our table was pushed right up against the stage, the drinks were only $2.50 CAD, nobody ever tipped because the bar was paying for the girls anyway, and we'd lay out a selection of chocolates on our table as stripper bait. We'd get them laying down, eating chocolates, telling us about what they were going to do that weekend, etc.

The trick is this: you must realize that it's not a sex club. It's a bar. The cool thing is that it's a bar with naked women. You MUST realize that the only reason they're there is that they're probably cheaper than a slew of big screen TVs.

The strip bars in Canada tend to be more of a beer drinking place with the added bonus of having girls take their clothes off. Nothing like catching a couple of shows, a beer or two and a cheap burger for lunch.

The clubs down in the States tended to be more about the sex rather than the beer, if they server beer at all. I won't waste my money down there anymore.
