Forced abstinence really sucks. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

I had to endure 3 months of forced abstinence. Well, not forced, but close enough.

When my wife and I were to get married, the priest said that he wouldn't marry us unless we lived appart for 3 months and abstained.

I personally didn't care if he married us or not, but Mrs. Tin was dead set on him.

The bastard then went on vacation and didn't marry us anyways. ugh.

i agree - that is the absolute worst. When you are in a committed realationship and have to wait until you are BOTH ready

It so is, i have had a couple of long distacne relationships, and they worked out perfectly without any sex. Well, as perfectly as a long distance relationsship can work out anyways.

Can you explain why it's so bad to wait until both of you are ready? If you're that ignorant, leave the 'committed relationship' and just go get laid. And if this was a sarcastic remark, I take back the ignorant comment - it's hard to tell when comunicating in just words.

amen.. forced abstence sounds more of a relatioship issue. If indeed it is forced. If you mean she wont let you get in her pants.. that is not forced. it's her choice. deal with it however you see fit. Waiting until the other person is ready is a matter of respect of one's wishes.. if you cant deal with that you really shouldn't be in a relationsip with them, possibly you shouldn't be in a relationship at all. It takes a certain level of maturity to recognize and honor people's personal wishes and put their own impulses aside.

I go home durring the summer thats 3 months of abstinece i suppose, as my girlfriend attends the same college as me, however we live in two difrrent states.
