They flirt aggressively either because
1. You're taken and therefore "safe" as an outlet because they know you likely won't reciprocate or 2. That you're married and have a baby on the way is proof that you're good marryin' material. (Although if you left your wife for a hussy what would that say about your likely fidelity to them? Nobody ever said hussies were good at thinking ahead.) or 3. You're sexy and they just can't help themselves

I think people want what they can't have. It happens on both sides of the gender lines. (shrug)
Enjoy the attention. Don't sleep with them. There's no rule that say you have to. You do that if you want to and it's worth risking your marriage over. If it's not, what's the problem? On a slightly lesser note, citing your allegiance to a non-masturbation pact tied to an Internet message board comprised of people you'll likely never even meet once in person as "troubling" you and contributing to making it "difficult" for you... is hella-lame. Sure you wanna bone hot chicks. I don't know a lot of heterosexual males that don't. Just... ummm... don't.

Wanting what you can't have is the essence of the bovine consumerism we're all fed from birth.
It's neither male nor female.

I don't think you really punch donkeys.
It's just a hunch, mind.

That veracity of that tidbit will remain between me and the donkey.
I will say, however, that I never got Sanchez dirty. But I thought about it. Talk about your inopportune time to start laughing uncontrollably... moo.

If you are attractive to women, they will flirt no matter what. It is the same when a woman is really attractive, guys flirt no matter what. Its nature. Just don't do anything that'll ruin marriages.
I have noticed that when a guy is seen to be confident and not desperately looking for a girl, or looking at all, he will get more attention. |

i agree with what some of the others have already said. people in general want what they can't have.
but damn, there is this one girl where i work, and she ONLY goes for married guys and it's not exageration. she'll hook up with one for a little while, till the married guy pretty much ends it, then she just moves on to the next. she's hooked up with 3 guys that work with me in my department(all married) and 3 others in other departments. one of the guys in my department ended up getting caught by his wife, and now they're divorced. another dude got caught by his wife and is divorced as well. don't do it! |

Meh, maybe theres just something about haveing a bun in the oven, Double D, that turns her/him off. But meh, how am I to know.
And Forks, I do think that everyone wants what they can't have. Its like how in highschool the nerds wanted the cheerleaders and never got them. Pretty damned sad, eh? |

To answer the question simply:
"Do women want what they can't have?" Yes, they do. In fact, so do men. What's more, if you are a human being and are presented with something that you cannot have, it is a natural instinct to want it, period. That is unless, of course, if you are professional at fighting your human instincts.

I think the wanting-but-can't-have concept definitely applies here and in all aspects of life. To add to that, I think that this is also a matter of competition. If a guy is attracted to a girl (or vice versa) and finds out she's taken, the guy feels more compelled to compete with the man she's dating (or married to).

this is a good problem for you to have for sure!
i am often wanting the women i cannot date in my life, for instance, ms. tia carrere of television's relic hunter! i don't know if she is married, but even still, i do not know where her apartment is, so therefor she is unattainable to me even for a coffee. |

Actually, some of it really is a "safe" thing. It's easier for me to flirt with a married man because I know that he's got someone to go home to at the end of the day. Even if I don't follow through, he will still probably get laid before the day is out. |

Sounds like you're keeping everything out in the open, so what's the concern? As long as you're honest with yourself and your wife, everthing should be copacetic (am I spelling that right?).
As for not masturbating, well, that whole thread just boggles my mind. Sure if you're thing is chaffed from wanking ten times a day, then you should probably pull back, but otherwise.... Especially if you're not having sex with you're wife, why on earth wouldn't you want to have a little daily release or every other day. I mean I have sex on average 3 to 4 times a week and I still masturbate. That's what men do, procreate and masturbate, all the ates: watch televisionate, drink beerate, suurf internet pronate, look at naked pictures of womanate.... |

If you must ask a question like this, you must not know women very well. Truth is, even more so than wanting what they don't have, I believe what they truly want is what OTHER women have. But, whadda I know?!!?, I'm just a man........just a man.

When my wife hit her 7th or 8th month of pregnancy, she was horny as hell!!! It was unbelievable!!!!!! She still talks about how horny she was. A co-worker told me she was the same way at that time of pregnancy. I hope you wife experiences the same thing. Of course, every woman is different, so she might not. Do what's right for your family. Stay faithful and wank away!!!!!!!!!!
