If you can't talk to your counselors about this... why the hell are you even going to a counselor? Try talking with them. If you don't like their response, try a different counselor. If every counselor gives you the same response, perhaps they really are right.

This might be of help. TFP is a font of wonderful information.

The entire thread is superb. Please take the time to read it.

I wish you well.

I'm going to tell them the next time I see them - this feels as if it's gotten worse. It also feels as if it's one thing that led to myself being abnormally stressed; when I took estrogen, and even a short while after, I felt wonderful - it was the best feeling I had ever experienced. However, when my body started to produce testosterone again, I started to feel depressed - the same way I did prior to taking estrogen.

Thank you so much and the OP of that thread! (I tried sending her a PM but I need to complete a few more posts first) I felt a lot better after reading the thread!

@ Otacon, wait a bit longer, it will be for the best.

If my doctor told me to not take a medication because it would conflict with my treatment, and I took it behind his back - he would be treating me based on an incorrected assumption (that I was NOT taking a medication). This is very dangerous to treatment.

Otacon, just tell your doctor the honest to God truth about how you feel and so they can treat you for EVERYTHING that is going on, not just the picture you let them see.

Sorry for the late reply. I've told them that my body being male feels to be the main cause of depression, and has worsened and even in the absence of depressive feelings, suicidal thoughts and tendencies still occur quite often. Luckily, I got some money and should be seeing a friend who will be giving me some more estrogen pills until I can get put on HRT - I know some of you would probably despise this, perhaps thinking it's stupid, but I'm desperate to become female.

I greatly appreciate all the advice, and that thread 'ring' linked me to was a wonderful help! :D
