I'm new to this site, and I would like to have some serious discussions but I don't know if everything I want to talk about is entirely proper on this site or not. can anyone clarify?

When in doubt, I'm sure a staff member would be able to answer a question, too.

Thanks, Will. That's a very good point. You can always PM a staff member for a ruling on something. But if it's a real question, the answer is going to be that it's ok.

An example of what isn't ok from a few years ago: "tell me a story about how you like to fuck animals". That thread didn't last long, and some punishments were handed out for some comments there. As a counterpoint, we have an ongoing discussion on the morality of bestiality that's active for at least a couple of months.

Hopefully that adds more clarity, and, again, Will's made an excellent point.
