the other doggy style thread made me think a bit.

Do men like doggy style since it makes them in charge and seem dominant? My friends and I were looking at a music channel on cable and we saw a Shakira video. Some of friends think she's really hot and said they'd like to bend her down and give it to her sweet. Even when thinking about doggy style for a moment, the women is "passive", if one thinks about it. It's obviously the man who does the thrusting and is in control.

i personally like doggy since to me the women is sort of helpless in accepting pleasure, and is being "taken" so to speak. so I guess, to me at least, it is about dominance in a sense.

I don't like doggie style at all.

My favourite is the good old fashioned Missionary Position. Missionary is very intimate, very erotic, with maximum skin on skin contact. Doggie is anything but intimate, with vitually no skin on skin contact.

I personally really like it. I can vary both the depth and the rhythm with ease, and also access her tits and clit if I want. I love the built in handholds of her hips as well. I am not a fan of doggy style. The height is never right, putting me into an awkward charlie-horse inducing half-crouch. It's easy to slip out accidentally, so I have to be careful not to pull out too far. And her bucking around throws off my rhythm. There's just too much concentrating on the physics for me to enjoy it.

I enjoy a good doggy-style a lot-certainly the dominance factors in a bit here. Also, the angle and the deep penetration typically feels good for me and for her.
