Depends on the angle her butt is raised, wouldn't it? and what usual style are you referring to? there is no "best" sexual position really. some women do dig doggy style since it leads to deeper penetration or best hits their g-spot. other women just don't enjoy it.

i've done it doggy style with big women and i've had little problems.

He probably means that a large lady's butt and hips would get in the way of thrusting and hence good penetration. I don't see how though personally, since doggy style probably provides the easiest access to the vagina and thus good penetration. I'd think it would matter more if the men was overweight too, since his stomach might get in the way.
