My stepfather takes Levitra
 

A few months ago, I was at my parent's house and requested some Tylenol. My mother told me to look in the cabinet in my stepfather's restroom to see if I could find some. Well, I did--but I also found Levitra. I was mildly amused but, of course, never said anything about it.

Several weeks later, my mother was bragging about how much better my stepfather was in bed than my father. Ridiculous that I have to hear these things, I know. So, I couldn't resist, and said that at least my father doesn't take Levitra (that I know of?).

She flipped out and said he only needed it because he had high blood pressure and that caused him problems. Anybody know if there's any truth to that?

At any rate, I thought the whole thing was hilarious.

Quite possible, heck, Viagra was created initially as blood pressure medication.

I once opened a drawer upstairs to get a pair of scissors at my parents house and saw a Viagra sample pack in there. I puked in my mouth a little bit.

hahaha this could easily become a "when I discovered my parents were people" threads; very, very quickly.

One time, when I was around 13/14, I was digging for something in my step father's junk drawer in his dresser and found a package of "penis enlarging gel". I was so tempted to take it.

I don't know if there is any validity to her reasoning, and I know that bear cub is right about viagra but I'd assume it was for sex. Either way that's a laugh.

Yeah, I once found some "sex gel" in the nightstand in my parent's bedroom when I was a child. It was from Frederick's of Hollywood. Evern worse, I once heard them. Thanks god I never actually saw them.

He probably is better in bed than your father, orelse the old lady wouldn't be bragging. (Though I think she should have kept her gate closed about that little detail out of respect for you.)

I can totally understand that.

A lot of guys can get would at the drop of a hat but have no idea how to please a woman. Other guys need the little pill to get wood, but are able to drive a woman to sexual exhaustion, and not just by screwing alone.

It's not at all surprising. A number of health problems can cause ED. Just getting older can cause ED. Woopdedoo--it's really not a big deal.

Agreed, but thanks to medical science we now have multiple options to heal ED. I think the natural herbal stimulants are a bit good options to explore.

Im not sure that Levitra and other meds in this dept actually heal anything. I think they deal with a symptom. Although they may cause one to heel right up.

What an odd thing to hear from your mother, about someone who is not your father. Seems a bit tasteless, especially if you respect your father. Something to say next time: "You think he's better in bed, but at least my father reproduced."

Have you tried: "Mom, I'm not interested in hearing about your sex life. Please don't talk about it around me."?

Lucky for us, they didn't have any children that lived. ;)

...so yes, "hypertension" is high blood pressure, but that's only a "has been explored", not a "used commonly in treatment".
