Surprise Party no long a surprise
My girlfriend of 7 months accidentally spilled the beans about a surprise birthday party she is throwing. I don't think she knows that I heard anything about the party, but I did. What I am going to do is act surprised regardless, but then tell her that I caught wind of it if she flat out asks if I knew about it. If she doesn't specifically ask, I won't go out of my way to tell her I knew about it. I am touched regardless, and don't want her to feel like it didn't go as successfully as it could have.
What would you do? |
Exactly what you're planning. Play along, but don't go out of your way to deny that you knew in advance if she catches on.
|
Yeah. You have a good plan. Stick with it.

Hmm, tough choice.
See her excited and ecstatic about how her surprise plan has come to fruition, have a great time at the party, and have birthday sex later that evening. Or. Tell her, watch her burst in to tears, gasping for breath between sobs just to tell you how she "never does anything right," be mortified in front of friends and family, and spend the birthday bucks on a hooker. Tough decision, but its your call. |
Thanks for the reassurance.
CW, that made me laugh. Truthfully though, she is real laid back and wouldn't be that bothered if she did know that she foiled the surprise. |
She's going to ask you if you knew. Even if she is positive you didn't know. It's just the nature of the beast. Sheesh...men!

Not to be mean, but does this belong in sexuality?
Is the surprise party full of naked oiled up beautiful women? |

Now you've gone and ruined the surprise. |
