You are still pretty much a child. You claim to be 18 (I use claim because I wouldn't be shocked if you are younger), you have an anime avatar (yes I think that says something about you), you are worried you are not able to work out enough to bulk up, and you are into porn.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you are also a virgin, or at best very limited and fumbling experiences with females. This is not to be condescending, this it to be factual.

The problem with constantly jerking it, is it becomes a demotivator. The desire for sex is a great motivator. At your age, I felt under muscled as well, had limited confidence, and probably would have felt an anime sig was cool provided anyone payed much attention to anime then, or that there was an internet beyond Gopher and university systems.

Masturbation would just be a demotivator for me, by taking off the edge you take off a lot of your drive too. Rather than fapping, letting that sexual frustration build up a bit will give you the energy to push yourself over the top in your work outs, to get the guts to approach that really hot girl, to in short be a winner.

Do this and you will find that soon you will have far less need to masturbate, mostly because she will do that sort of thing for you.

When working out, some people are just going to hit a bit of a glass ceiling. You need to make sure you've got a healthy diet and are getting plenty of protein. Keep it up, though, because sometimes you can hit that glass ceiling for a while and then suddenly break though it.

Also, you can't work some muscles and neglect all the rest. Are you running or doing any other kind of cardio workout?

I was raised a Catholic and was taught masturbation was wrong and something to be gravely ashamed of. So I always harbored guilt for many years as a teenager.

It wasn't until I was about 16 when my girlfriend admitted that she masturbated too that I felt much much more comfortable about that aspect of my sexuality.

If you're young, it's ok, and 6 times a week is not unacceptable, hell, I know a girl who does it 6 times a day.

I agree with what Ustwo had to say. If you back off it a bit, it will give you a big edge when exercising and gets you off your ars a bit when meeting girls.

6 times a week might be a little much...but I never found it to be a de-motivator. beating off just isnt the same, and is often not even satisfying.

my experience with working out was that when I would hit a peak, I was usually very defined and had veins sticking out everywhere. once I hit the peak, I'd usually take off for a while, put on some body fat, and I'd be able to peak higher the next time around.

there's also the possibility that you arent using effective work-out methods.

Pulling your pud six times weekly does not seem excessive, unless you rub it raw. I do not think that A) you will run out of testosterone, or B) have slower gains at the gym because of it. You likely have difficulty building mass because your are relatively young and your metabolism is insane, chewing through what you eat before it can be converted to body mass. I think I had a pretty normal development into manhood, and experienced it with other young men at the same time. Its not universal but from the OP's posts, I think he seems like a normal kid. My guess is my experience in this is pretty useful for him, but perhaps you can share your wisdom on this with exercise, women and sexual development and he can get a different perspective.
