Kissing, Foreplay, Sex and Music

This is for both guys and gals out there. What are some of your favorite songs to play/listen to through each (kissing/making out, foreplay, and sex)? Are there any in particular that just get you in the mood? Obviously Barry White and Marvin Gaye apply, but got any others?

hmm maybe a little odd but Metallica for me - something like Enter the Sandman, Whiskey in the Jar or Until it Sleeps

Unforgiven (1 and 2) and Nothing Else Matters not huge makeout music for me though.

i just like the "pace" of this song. It's pretty much my start to finish pattern I hear in it. kinda laid back, and eventually just pretty overwhelming. Nevermind the video, it's from some game that is completely unrelated.

Well I suppose that's better than "Mommy's Little Monster"....

Actually, I get the whole rockabilly (from their later stuff) and fucking conotation. I'll go so far as to admit it.

Personally the wildest sex I've ever had was to Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and Tchaikovski's "1812 Overture". It was . . . energic.

I used to hook up with this danish girl who got completely hot for Leonard Cohen, weird. Although I love Metallica etc, I wouldn't think of it as the ultimate hook up music, probably something more mellow like Sade (perhaps a little cliched, but not as much as Barry White, etc). For some reason, I have fond memories of hooking up with this one girl to Everlast a lot... Hmmm

Al Green, especially "Let's Stay Together" and "Love and Happiness". My coworker listens to a great R&B station and they play Al Green at least once a day... I can't work while he's singing. My brain wanders off to melt in a puddle somewhere and I have a sudden urge to go home and jump on my people.
And thanks to lurkette, Cameo's cover of "Word Up" gets me thoroughly worked up.

Ha! I've had sex to 3 days grace, Avenged Sevenfold, and Rush. That was pretty crazy. LOL!

But normally I like things that have a nice beat to them like some of Justin Timberlake's songs. I don't know why.

Lately, its been that song "Ayo Technology" that gets me going. It just has such a nice beat to it. I could really grind to something like that!

My, my, my. Yeah I think that song is totally hot. haha.

So my boyfriend picked up the Lost Highway soundtrack the other day, and we played it in the car on the way home. And it was awesome, and definately got us into the mood. I think I will use this soundtrack next time I do a strip tease for him.

It may sound strange
but "Bolero" by Ravel

It starts out slow and the real song is about 20 minutes and it picks up the pace. It's nice and gentle to begin with and then it's louder and the sounds clash harder and faster and then at the end, the song climaxes.

Just like sex

The few times we have listened to music before/during sex, it was awesome... really helped me get into the mood. My husband (then boyfriend) chose the music, so I don't remember exactly what the names were, but Sigur Rós was one of our early biggies. Maybe Massive Attack another time? Jazz also works wonders...

Hyacinthe, I don't think that's terribly odd... metal gets me worked up when I'm in the gym, so I can imagine it turning up my heat in the bedroom as well.

I guess when I listen to metallica it's kinda hard to repress the urge to undulate or grind my hips - when I am making out to it or having sex I can work with that urge.

Let me start out by reframing the question. You can't be talking in terms of "songs" if you are talking about serious lovin'. What is this, wam bam thank you ma'am? You need what we used to call a long playing record.

The two albums best suited for pitching woo are both by Boz Scaggs: Slow Dancer and Silk Degrees. Case closed.

Well I can honestly say I have never done any of those with music playing in the background lol. But I can tell you that Nine Inch Nails song "closer" gets me in the mood to screw. And I would have to agree on the Metallica music, but only the song 'nothing else matters'. But only when my man plays it on his guitar for me...oh man does that get me hot, if he only added the singing in there, whether he can sing or not, I would be jumping him right then and there lol.

May sound weird, but Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to "The Passion (of the Christ)" is a fantastic album for this purpose.

I am liking the anime song posted too!

Could anyone doing the soundtrack for Passion have more biblical names than Peter Gabriel? Maybe if their name was Jesus Jesus Jesus.

We listen to A Perfect Circle, especially Mer de Noms. But the two songs that really get me going are the Passenger by the Deftones featuring Maynard James Keenan, and REV 22:20 by Puscifer also a Maynard song. I think maybe its just his voice so ethereal and sultry.
