Dear, I assume you are honest and are looking for help. Go buy a home pregnancy test. You aren't pregnant but buy one anyway to relieve your stress. That might help your stomach, stress can mess up your digestive system. Then after that come back here and we'll make some recommendations on how and why you should get some education about sex.

Okay, back to serious world. Project8, your question is if your boyfriend fingers you with seamen on his finger, can you get pregnant. The answer is yes, but it's not likely. Your next question is based on the fact that you think you're showing after 7 days. I'd say unless you're going to give birth to a blue whale it's unlikely.

lol

and yea, when sperm are spread onto a surface like skin, then rubbed onto another surface like a vaginal wall, their membranes lyse... the only way to get pregnant is if somehow a spermatozoa is perfectly protected from all friction until it reaches a fluid channel to swim up... aka

Ok I have to stop reading posts by will while eating / drinking

Project8 you're probably not pregnant but like Craven said go and buy some tester kits (generally atleast 3 with everyone being a different brand) to relieve your stress about it. You've said that your period is irregular so you might just be late or have skipped a month. I doubt many women out there FEEL pregnant even when they are until about the 5th month, though having never been pregnant I can't guarantee that.

Then and this is the important bit do some reading up about safe sex practices. Pregnancy is not the only thing you have to worry about when it comes to intimacy and the amount of women and men out there who know what is dangerous to their health in sexual situations is pretty pathetic. With something that can change your life as drastically as pregnancy or an STI you can never have too much information.

If this guy was your bf or you're having a relationship of some kind with him (you don't say in the OP) you shoudl definitely talk to him about your worries. I had a scare kindof like this (cept mine involved a broken condom and the beginnings of amenorrhea) a few years back and talking about it made us both feel much closer to the other.

okay, i feel bad about this because it's hard for many not to make fun, as the thread content makes clear, but at the same time this could be real anxiety the OP is feeling. in which case my heart goes out to her. i went through some pregnancy scares when i was around her age (with a girlfriend, i mean, i'm straight male) and it's not fun at ALL.

i am actually skeptical of the claim that you can get pregnant from digital intercourse but i suppose it's abstractly possible. if i were you, project8, i would think less about actual accidental pregnancy (if you haven't had sex, i really don't think it's at all likely) and more about getting control over the sexual aspect of your relationship, which involves communicating with your partner.

but at the same time, whoever said to go out and get a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease, by all means do that.

Facts about periods:

1) They are NOT like clockwork, unless you're on birth control.
2) PMS symptoms range from mood swings to stomach upset to sore breasts.

Facts about sex:

1) Sperm do not like extreme temperature. In fact, scientific studies have shown that men who bathe daily in hot tubs have lower sperm count and lower sperm motility than those that don't. Similarly, sperm don't care for cold either.
2) Sperm do not like friction.
3) Sperm require ideal conditions to function properly, and make it all the way to the ova.
4) Fingering will not get you pregnant, period.

If you're worried about being pregnant, the last place to find the answer is on an internet forum. Go to the drug store and take a test.. or even better.. go to a *DOCTOR*.

I actually discussed this with another Aussie and we were both kinda amazed with how often these threads seem to crop up.

Just for my own curiosity how does sexual education work where you all are?

Over here (in my state atleast) we do classes on sex ed from age's 10 - 15 and every year we cover puberty, mestruation, sperm production and pregnancy / STI risks. By the time we're 13 they have us practicing putting condoms on model penises (would that be penii?). Ofcourse I can't say how many actually pay attention with the current stats on early pregnancy and STI's caught at a young age but the information is made available unless parents specifically retract their children from those sections of the course. They don't even bother trying to promote abstinence anymore that I know of.

This truly should be reserved for another thread, but as I hear it, a forward thinking middle school in the States (ages 11-14) has actually implemented an option to issue "the pill" to students who have parental approval to receive it. There has been heated contension, but what the school proposes is that the kids are already having sex, you cannot stop them, and at least by having the kids on birth control, they do not run the risk of getting pregrant.

In that case the parents should take their kids to a doctor for it, not the school.

Schools are not pharmacies nor should they ever be.

Forward thinking = fucking insane in this case. If you can't keep a pre-teen from having sex, you are an awful parent.

I totally agree with this, but it doesn't solve the problem of millions of terrible parents that do exist, and because of their poor parenting now you have a really screwed up life for the kids, and for their new kid.

Fact is awful parents are here to stay. They don't have the time or the money or the will to take their kids to the doctor. Now are you going to ignore it and condemn it while letting two generations of Americans get thrown into poverty, or are you going to try to do something about it? No one's forcing the kids to get birth control. Personally I think this is actually in the school's interest because I will be damned if pregnant / expectant / parent children are going to make it academically. I went to a public school like that, middle and high, and the fact is, this already happens.

I rather doubt the pregnancy rate of 11 year olds justifies a school program to prevent it. Might as well mandate birth control for kids (and yes I think thats the next concept for people like this).

Teen pregnancy rates have been dropping steadily for a few years, so maybe sex education, as it stands, works.
What really bothers me is that kids that do this kind of thing, ie;fingering, bj's, even anal, in some warped idea that, because a membrane didn't break somehow makes them a virgin, are so amazingly clueless about how. things. work. And when mom insists on taking little Missy to a doctor and it's proclaimed her hymen's still intact, ignorant mommy can remain happy while little Missy continues giving bj's, getting fingered and so on....and then worry because someone's finger got her virginal self preggers.
Sex education is what it is-a joke.
No, a finger can not get you pregnant. Neither can swallowing really hard. Nor sitting on a toilet seat after the boyfriend dripped cum on it.
And if he's sticking his hands up your vagina to get you off, maybe you haven't had sexual intercourse, but you're likely not a virgin, not even technically. That's a mind game to keep yourself thinking you're still a 'good girl'.

Just to further threadjack...

Where I went to school, the horrors of teen pregnancy and STDs were dramatically played up, sex itself was taught in the most basic mechanical way by a stuttering and blushing teacher, and birth control was NOT discussed at all.

I'm not sure how each state does it, but sex ed in Utah is a joke. There are probably young girls here who think they are pregnant because their boyfriend fingered them.

And on another note...the poster never responded to anything posted here...perhaps her gas/alien/indigestion is gone??
