did the coconut thread get anyone else hot?

mmmmmm...at the risk of sounding odd.....ok...not much risk...odd is me and i am odd.... growing up I have all these warm recollections of the smell of baking coconut.....maccaroons really. but with german chocolate and cookies there was a lot of coconut flyin around the place. then....a few years ago i was with a girl that found some coconut rum and got lit on it like a roman candle.. while we were making sweet sweet wild monkey buffalo love she, naturally, began to sweat out the rum.....AND THE COCONUT!! I swear I have never had a wilder night.

ever since then I know this for certain, any woman with cleavage that smells of coconut will have a willing slave....just as long as she doesnt try to shove a dildo in my butt......but thats another story!! :shakehead:

anyone else have a food related fetish?

I have often heard that vanilla is an aphrodisiac, and I do admit that coconut is a pleasant scent, but I don't go cookoo for coconut. Since smell is the sense most closely tied to memory, I would certainly expect a lot of memories for certain smells (kind of like the smell of Ralph Lauren Polo reminds me of middle school dances!). By the way, you may be odd, but probably not because of this, although I don't think I'd like to be standing in front of you in a bakery if they were cooking macaroons...

This is pretty common. I know that when I smell someone wearing the same perfume one of my ex's used to wear I start feeling all funny in my pants.

I believe this kind of thing is linked to Synethesia, although I could be totally wrong on that one. I certainly know that when I listen to certain songs, I can smell things that had a strong smell I first started listening to it a lot. This is usually only songs that I heard during a strong emotional high or low though.

Smell is allegedly the most closely linked of all the senses to memory.

Remember Proust's Madeline?

There are many smells that have significance for me...

There are one or two fragrances by Victoria's Secret that make me grumpy/angry, because my very first girlfriend (the major bitch) wore them. To this day, I still can't stand to smell them.

With my second girlfriend, I once bought her, as a joke gift, a bottle of perfume called "earthworm" from some odd little hippie store. Basically it smells like wet soil... and no, it's not particularly alluring. lol She wore it once, though, and surprised me with a night of "anything goes, and I'm doing all the work" sex. Sometimes when it rains, I'll smell that wet soil smell and be transported back to that night... which was fucking incredible. lol

My third girlfriend really liked this one particular, and very popular, incense. If I smell it, I feel my hands tightening as though I'm preparing to grope boobs. lol

Oh baby...Baby oil....Ahhhhhhh that clean lovely smell always reminds me of the best sex I ever had in my life from far too many years ago. To this day I get a bit aroused whenever I smell baby oil and I try to use it whenever I can!

It's a great moisturizer and makeup remover...Heheheheh :)

My first GF's breath had a hint of blueberry to it. Blueberries themselves don't trigger the memory, but I've smelled a couple of other women with that breath, and it is... distracting.
