Saying I love you
Yea I just have a bit of a question. This isn't the owner of this name but his cousin. My gf always tells me she loves me, which I appreciate because I love her too. However sometimes...it's too much. Ok yeah I love you too but do you have to say it after like every 10 minutes? It gets annoying. EVERY phone conversation we have she randomly says it in between everything, or if I say something that interests her. It's a bit much and puts me off a little. We've been dating about 2 years. Am I wrong for feeling this way? I came out and honestly told her that yes I love her but I'm not the type of person who says it all the time. Also her saying it to me sometimes makes me feel obligated to say it back to her which makes things a bit weird for me.

Which is her motive for doing so-to make you say it back.
It's an insecurity, mostly-having to hear it somehow makes it more real, but, in truth, one can say it and not mean it at all.

As NG said, she could be a bit insecure, and wants to hear you say it back. It could also be that she just loves you to death and can't stop talking about it because she's so excited. |
