Durex tingling lube
So it being a saturday night I was strolling around and seen this Durex tingling lube. I said hey why not and made the purchased my friend bought this a couple of days ago and he was saying how good it tastes yet he hasn't used it yet.
So fast forward to probably 20 minutes ago and me and my girlfriend are doing business with the lube and not within 10 seconds into it I see she looks like she is in discomfort I also tell her "my dick feels like it is on fire" she then laughs and complains that it feels like her vagina also feels the same way. (this feels very uncomfortable not a good warming sensation but a very very deep heat unbearable if you ask me. I then proceed to pull out and wipe myself and her and use our regular lube. It was still very comfortable and until probably 10 minutes ago my penis felt like it was literally on fire. A lot of you probably can just imagine a couple saying in the heat of the moment both in somewhat pain and discomfort "my dick is on fire" ya so is my pussy..... ahahhaha Anyways point of the story we will never use this but it will never stop us from trying new product and new ideas. Anyone else come incontact with a similar situation with this product or anything like this. I understand that this most likely is just a reaction that we had to it but man was it ever weird. |

I HATE that Tingling lube from Durex. It smells like spearmint. It's terrible. Durex's lubes suck.
I much prefer ID lube, though I did buy these condoms that came with packages of "Warm Lovin'" lube from Lifestyles, and that is good stuff. So is Astroglide, and KY's lubes are good. I also don't like Wet. I really want to try KY's new Intrigue lube, but I can't seem to find it in stores around here yet.

Iceland is a dry land when it comes to lube options. All I see is the Durex stuff. We got one of those (the standard, non-tingling non-warming one) and I don't like it much, it dries out very quickly. Abaya's friend is shipping us a bottle of Maximus though, so that's good

We only use KY. I've tried a few other things but KY is the only brand that I have really liked so far.
I'll make sure to stay away fro Durex now that you mention it though.

The Durex tingle lube has menthol in it. The amount varies from batch to batch (within certain agreed limits).
That explains the minty smell and the flare up. The issue with ID lubes is that they have not been tested as medical devices, so there is no certainty that they will not weaken condoms. Always buy a lube that has been approved for use with condoms (in Europe, these will be marked with the CE symbol with a licence number underneath).
