I got into a conversation today about those with some friends. And since none of them were women, we didn't know if they worked or if it were urban legend. And since this isn't the type of topic one normally brings up when the couples go out for dinner, I thought I'd ask here.

So ladies, any experiences? Do they leave you with a pleasant sensation? Are they hard to keep in place? Are you excited by them? Anything else to add?

An ex of mine used to use them. She loved what she could do with her... powers. She was a pretty quick cummer, however she did not like me lasting much longer than her. So she realized she could control when I came by flexing her ben wa muscles, and used that many times so we could cum together.

What are they?

They're balls, made of metal or plastic, which are attached by a string. They can be inserted into the vagina or anus, and left in to provide pleasure, or removed at varying speeds to have the same effect. Some of them are hollow with a weight inside them which moves around, which some people enjoy.

Wikipedia has a good entry describing them. I didn't know Ben Wa was a brand name until I read it.

Unfortunately, I have no experience with them. They seem pretty interesting to me. :)

...this review has a little history on Ben Wa Balls, as well. I enjoy them. I've never used them routinely so I can't say whether they really work that noticeably well on your muscles, but my SO says that he can tell a difference when I've been wearing them all day. I do think they make Kegel exercises feel more "productive" and I love the little jingly feeling they give you when you stand up suddenly or walk up and down stairs.

They sound interesting. For us women, do they make you more orgasmic?

I don't think so. I haven't noticed any physical changes myself, but like I said, I don't use them regularly. Mostly just when I'm told to. :)

Word of caution...do not have ben-wa balls of metal inside when going through airport security....

It's a funny story, but not mine....
Cousin set off the detector at Kennedy a few years ago, before the use of x-ray machines....apparently they are very good Kegel exercise equipment. I just wouldn't recommend that kind of 'exercise' when boarding flights.:lol:

The only advice I would recommend is making sure you check the size, go to a shop or something.

As for ben wa balls..I've seen them but never used them. Kegel exercises worked for me but this is somewhat different so I don't know.
