Atmosphere for Sex Preferred by Ladies
 

I'm curious as to what atmosphere the ladies here generally prefer for sex, and more specifically (because I know that this answer can vary greatly depending on things as capricious as mood) prefer for the first sexual encounter with a person they have gone out with.

You forgot (I'm a man and I'm curious...).

I can't chose one answer on the poll because I like all of them and my preference changes a lot depending on my mood so I can't really say I prefer one over the other. So, right now I could go for sensual and aggressive, but last week I was wanting aggressive, animal like, etc.

About 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, with the remaining 1% going to several other gases in very small quantities. :)

I agree with the consensus of other ladies here, but the first time, your safest bet is probably the first option. Probably wouldn't want to spring the "dangerous, aggressive" stuff on her right out of the blue. Unless, of course, you have very good reason to suspect that's what she wants.

For my first sexual encounter with someone I'm dating, I would probably prefer it to be closer to the sensual side of things. Though I'm thinking it would still be pretty hot and heavy because it would be the first time with this new person and it would be exciting. If I've been seeing someone for a while, then I agree with Sultana and Sugar&Spice, it all depends on my mood. Sometimes I like it really hot, rough and aggressive, other times I like it to be slow and sensual and tender. And sometimes I just crave the urge to get down somewhere I may be caught because it ups the excitment factor.

Basically here's to getting it on, however it happens!!

It's all good to me as long as it's INTENSE. It could be "rough and aggressive" intense, or "slow and sensual" intense, "wild and kinky" intense, or just "physically overwhelming" intense.

I was just about to ask where that option was. That's usually how I used to spend the nights with my ex. Start off with candles and a good hour of foreplay, and by the end of it she's grabbing the back of my head screaming for me to fuck her harder.

Each time I can remember having sex for the first time with a woman, it seems like it's sensual for about the first maybe 5-10 minutes, and then someone makes a move and everything goes crazy from there on out. I think having an entire session of "slow and sensual" isn't likely to be appreciated unless you're dating and have been for some time (or married), and it's a show of affection.

And don't let "innocence" fool you... most "innocent" girls are not so innocent in the bedroom. ;)

Im a firm believer that sex should amuse if not annoy the neighbors. In the case of my current residence, it should annoy three apartments worth of people to be worth spending the hour or so. Just a few years ago, I was in the middle of having some good sex with my then-girlfriend and someone was pounding on the front door. Having no idea who it could possibly be, I decided to go and check it out. I open the door to a very pissed-off looking 30-something woman who says she lives next to me (shared the wall of my bedroom) and that she can hear our "noises" all the way in the living room. I apologized and explained it was difficult because we were trying to conceive, and [my girlfriend] feels really guilty all the time because "we had me checked out and my sperm is good, but I don't want to blame her... she blames herself anyway". I then pretended to start breaking down crying and said I just want her to be happy and to have a family. She apologized profusely and left, looking very sympathetic.

It varies. I'm a sucker for the soft lights, music, lot's of gentle kissing and caressing stuff, which is what I voted for. I also occasionally like being tied up and flogged, which I suppose would qualify as sensual and aggressive. We'd never do anything dangerous--it's the illusion of danger that's the turn on.
