Sex Books

Are there any decent sex books out there that you'd recommend? I bought She Comes First and uh... It worked. Great.

But are there any other good books out there that are worth picking up?

I'm glad She Comes First worked for you. :D

Sage will be in here shortly to tout The Guide to Getting it On!, I'm sure. :D But I want to pre-endorse that book, because it's a great one (and highly entertaining) to get some ideas from. :) We bought it and I love to peruse its pages when I'm feeling horny.

And there's always the classic, The Joy of Sex... though I don't know if anyone (other than my parents) knows about it, in our generation. Seems to have gone out of fashion in the last few decades.

I loved the Guide to Getting it On. I've looked over some Kama Sutra illustrated or photographed versions and found them to be interesting in regards to developing intimacy, however, I'm not the most athletically competent person and after a heel in his face, the SO hid them.
Anything by that 'Blue' chick is usually good. Can never remember her first name.

Good Vibes has always been a good source for me. They have stores in San Francisco and Berkeley, but you can shop online, and even order a little catalog that comes every so often. I recommend Sweet Life 1 and 2. They have good stories that I find inspirational... good ideas. =)

Man, I bought the Guide to Getting it On and it looks like a fantastic book. It's pretty lighthearted which makes the read interesting, but I like what I see so far. Thanks for the recommendations.

Am I really getting that predictible? :)

To break out of the mold a little bit- check out Supersex by Tracey Cox. It's more of a techniques oriented book, and it's got a beautiful layout and great pictures- the kind of book you'd want on your coffeetable!

I need a new sex manual to tout..... :)

Well hon, it's not a bad thing... after all, you got us to buy it! I'm sure the publisher owes you some serious royalties. :D

But really, I think it's a great sex manual to tout, especially to those who are new to sex-ed literature. No problem with touting it if it's one of the best!

It is, and it's also a fun read, which I think it's really important.
