What lube for a personal jacuzzi?
So my fiance and I are pretty well versed in lubes. Silicone based eros for anal, pretty much any water base lube works for vaginal with astroglide being the cheap option and maximus being the high end option (also used for anal with toys). The only area where we have no experience is sex in water.
I say water based lubes won't work because they will wash away just like natural lube does in water, and she says eros is too thick for use in her vagina. What say ye? Silicone based lubes other then eros that might work well in this situtation? Specialty products for aquatic sex? Baby oil? |
I'm not sure what to use like that, but the only time I had sex in a hot tub was with a 45 year old woman and we needed no lube. However, I am told that hot tub sex isn't exactly the most clean sex you can have. It WILL introduce a lot of bacteria in to the woman, and can cause yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis...all kinds of things you don't particularly want to deal with. If the tub is freshly cleaned, the water is fresh, and you're cleaned up, too, that would probably be the safest way.

yes....have fun in the tub but get out to have sex!...........xoxoxoo

Sex in water is also extremely overrated.
|
I'm not sure about overrated. It was definitely good. I won't lie and tell you it was the best sex I ever had, even with that lady. But, given the chance, I'd do it again, with her at least.
|
Our experience with shower sex has been that the water washes away her natural lube so I am almost positive we will need something. It's an indoor hot tub, more like a bath then an outdoor chlorinated dealy so it should be reasonably clean.
|
I dunno if it'll be any cleaner. You still have dirty bodies entering the tub. Whether you're nude or not doesn't matter. I would think that swimming trunks would almost be worse, though. If you clean the hot tub after EVERY use, and consequentially it gets fresh water, you'll have less risk.

I would have to say a silicone based lube would probably be the best. Oil based lubes are not healthy for the woman to use. A thicker Gel type lube, I would think, would last longer.
Start cheap and try things out. I think I'd probably start out with the Equate version of KY Gel not liquid. No matter what I imagine it won't last for real long so I would personally plan to perhaps get out at some point. Using the hot tub play as foreplay more than anything else. |
Sex in water hasn't been that fun for me- I really dislike using silicone lube in my vagina. But, if you want to try it, use silicone lube- NEVER oil or anything like that (which can disrupt the normal functions of her vagina). Silicone won't wash away with the water.
And yeah, the worst UTI/ Yeast infection I ever had came from sex in a hot tub. OUCH! |

Yes, you heard me, I had sex in the shores of LAKE ERIE at Nickle Beach in Port Colborne. The result was not good - for her. A wicked urinary tract infection. The doctor told her that the kind of infection that she had came from having sex with a partner who had had sex with someone else and who had not cleaned up. She was 19 at the time (sigh, so long ago), and she just about blew my brains out. I actually figured out the link and it calmed her down. Won't be doing that any time soon again (not only because it's bad for you, but, I doubt that I am going to 20 again anytime soon.) |
Sex in the water can be dangerous for the woman if done repeatedly and hard thrusting is involved. I cannot remember the name of the condition but it essentially stem from the lining inside the vagina to become irritated and separate from the tissues behind and can cause an infection. This happens because if a tight enough seal is made between the penis and vagina, it is making a hydraulic pump inside her, and the tissues can't withstand that sort of PSI. However, I have read sex in a shower or somewhere where air can enter/escape is fine. Hope this helps

I can tell you solely from personal experience (my parents had one, and my gf and I used to utilize it all the time), that hot tub sex is pretty decent. I'd say we've done it at least a dozen times, and she's never gotten any sort of adverse after effects from it. We always just use her natural lubrication, some good hot tub foreplay and you'd be surprised how different the "water slick" is compared to how slick it is inside her. It usually doesn't last that long that the lube is an issue, if it were going to be a long thing i'm sure we'd have gotten out because the water can definitely causes added friction it seems after a period of time (although maybe your lube solution will help this). Good luck!

I would say first that I highly recommend against sex in water because you can actually push water into her vagina and cause an infection.
If you really want to go ahead with it though, I would say that most lubes will wash away if you put them on your penis. I would put some inside of her first before getting into the water. If that doesn't work, just get her nice and horny. There's nothing like natural lube! |
