Some thoughts on pre-mature ejaculation
 

I used to have this problem a few years back. It was always a huge issue that effected my self-esteem and all of that. I know there are a lot of ways that people say they take care of the problem, so I thought I'd throw out what's been going on with me.

I used to be, depending on the mood, seconds sometimes. It was humiliating for me, but last August I got on Zoloft for some anxiety problems I've had and that basically let me go for hours if I wanted to. It was a pretty incredible turn around.

So, just a thought if you are having that problem. Not sure how it works, but for me, it was amazing.

was that on the side effects? its good that it worked for you, but don't stay on the pills just for that effect if the anxiety is taken care of. it could just be the placebo effect like dlish said.. who knows

Yeah, it's a side effect. It's also prescribed for that kind of thing, I was just throwing it out there for those who were embarassed and didn't know about it.

I was off it for a while and I was still as confident as I was before, but it wasn't a matter of confidence, it was just the amount of sensation that made it so fast. It wasn't really mental for me, it was just "Good golly this feels good" and it would be over quickly.

Nope, Zoloft has sexual side effects. One of the main ones is inability to orgasm. It's good that it is a positive side effect for you. Go with it.

I doubt it is 'in his head'. I went on Effexor 2.5 years ago, and it was the only time I could last 10 minutes until my 1st orgasm. When I went off of the drugs, 6 months later it went back down to 3 or 4 minutes.

Johnson and Johnson are supposed to be producing a drug for guys who are concerned about not lasting long enough.
