dating
alrighty then
so i just did a quick search on dating, didnt really find anything so now im here because i think this is hte best area to post, not alllowed in the girls sectin or so they say. basically im looking for things to do on a date, movies, dinner those are kinda second hand to me, im looking for other things that we could do on a day out thanks! |
Go for a walk, picnic, go sledding, learn a hobby together (rock climbing for the first time for example), play pool, go to an amusement park, go dancing, have a drinking contest, go hottubbing, go to the beach, check out "cultural" areas of your city or town.
|
Eh if there's still snow at your place- I'd say go play in the snow. Make some fun snow sculptures together, it is much more fun than you would ever expect. Trust me.

Toboganing and then hot chocolate if you have snow.
As for other things, I'm at a loss. That was a serious problem I ran into in several past relationships. We just didn't really DO much, and it got boring. |
Art galleries, theatre/ballet, concerts (can be a little expensive :<), walking, picnics, sitting on a beach.
You could go to a wine/food festival. Or the zoo, that's a cool one too. Just some ideas off the top of my head |
thanks for all the suggetions, some of these things we are unable to do, like the suggested is not around, in the not so good of an area for the most part. these sound like fun and i belive that we can do them and not be bored. if anyone else has some suggestions keep them comming, im sure many other people out there can use this too

Another good one is sex. I hear that's a lot of fun.

Hmmm....
you could go fishing or stargazing or hiking. you could go to a county airport and watch the planes take off, or go for a bike ride. You could voluneer for some community organization, or go to a car show/basketball game/etc (insert event here). You could take the train to your date destination instead of driving. this is a good thread, btw |

After that, try horseback riding, a picnic, horseback riding to a picnic spot, bowling, ice skating, pool, the classic dinner and a movie, and all the other stuff that has been mentioned (forgot about theatre). |
I think I typically have the best result picking something I'm familiar with that she isn't. The trick is to be helpful without being arrogant. Most of the good stuff has already been mentioned, roller/ice skating, rock climbing, ect. Anything with low/moderate amounts of PG touching is good, as it helps break one of those awkward dating barriers that at least I always seem to bump into.
Something that I haven't seen yet is mini-golf, almost always a good time, try to keep it to 9 holes if possible though as the possibility for tedium exists if either one of you is exceptionally bad at it. |
Mini golf is awesome fun.
Star gazing, well that's just plain awesome. Better when you've been going out for a little while and things are more intimate and relaxed. |
Sorry if I duplicate anyone just going thru all the dates I have gone on.
Roller blading, ice skating, hiking, dinner, movie, bowling, fishing, white water rafting, bike ride, theater, opera, ballet, pottery (make your own), muesum, nice walk in the park, picnic, frisbee, make out, sports event, snow ball fight, Paint something together, water fight, paint ball, mini-golf, travel somewhere, road trip, watch fireworks, go to a pet store, shopping, Rock climbing, paddle boating, go to a bar, club... |
