Friend or grilfriend? What do I do?
 

Hello this is the first time I have ever started a Thread, but I didn't know what else to do to get information. I resently started talking to a girl I had a crush on in high school. We started hanging out (she has a boyfriend), and spending all of our free time with each other... I though for sure we would work out, Then things started to get physical. Started kissing and then had sex. Things were going great then all of sudden like a week later she said that she just wanted to be friends and she doesn't see me in "That" way. I was a little pissed off she dicided to tell me that after she got into my head again after i forgot about her. I just don't know what to do...

Ummm, she has a boyfriend? Maybe she started feeling guilty for cheating on him and decided to quit being a cheater.

Well, it sounds like maybe she was having doubts about her relationship with her boyfriend and she wanted to try someone new. So she found you and now she decided that she wants her boyfriend again. I would forget about her. If she had been serious about you in the first place she would have dumped her boyfriend before messing around with you.

I think it would be perfectly acceptable to barbecue with this girl. She would make an excellent grillfriend.

Your first mistake was having sex with her while she's in a relationship. Aside from that, you're best just to move on. She's made a choice, you really don't have much say in the matter.

Doesn't it just suck when the gal we're seeing has the worst taste in men, and decides to stick to someone else? Now I know that you've had a crush on her for quite some time, and you're finally got your chance. Just walk away now while you still like each other, and before things turn sour.

Being stubborn about girls only works in the movies. It's never worked out well for me. Walk away from her while you still have some dignity about you; be with a girl who respects you.

Any relationship that starts with any form of cheating _usually_ ends in disaaster with hurt feelings. I say _usually_ because I was kinda seeing someone else when I started seeing mandy and we've been together for almost three years. So this rule is by no means hard or fast.

Clearly, she's made a decision and like the others before me have said, it's best just to break it off cleanly and start afresh somewhere else.
