The wife and I have been talking about getting some reading material to help bring some new excitement to our love lives. I thought it would be a good Valentine's present to get her/us a book or two. Does anyone have any suggestions for any books? There are tons on Amazon and elsewhere, but I'm sure most are probably not the best reads.

We are looking for bedroom techniques, positions, toys.... and also the lifestyle books where they talk about how your daily routine effects your sex. We are by no means newcomers to sex, as we have been going out for 8 years and just married. We are just looking for some good books for us, or even seperate ones for her and I so we can read at different times. Thanks for any suggestions!

Also, any "must haves" for sexual toys? We have a standard pearl vibe which she loves, but a little variety would be nice for us both.

Try a massage techniques book. While not exactly sexual, it can add some spice to foreplay or perhaps as a relaxation technique after a particularly energetic romp. I used to have an excellent book, but I lost it when I moved cross country and I can't remember the name :(

The Guide to Getting it ON! by Paul Johannes 4th ed.

I CANNOT say enough good things about this book. I've said it all over these forums and recommend it to anyone- novice or expierenced lover. It's a book I've recommended many, many times to friends- I'm on my second copy of the book because I loaned the first copy out and didn't get it back!! Buy it from Amazon


SUPERSEX by Tracey Cox

This is another great book- great for looking at with your wife, the pictures are very sensuous and erotic! Talks more about techniques, foreplay, new and different fun things to do in the bedroom, etc. LOVE it! Buy it from Amazon
