Did Your break from TFP Politics and TFP Iraq calm you?
Regardless of your particular political stance, do you find your self taking this stuff way too seriously? Does your blood pressure rise and you find your self muttering about other posters?
Did you enjoy your break??? I did :D |
I rarely posted in the war forum, but when I did I found it had a calming effect, rather than a boiling effect. It was a good way to vent sometimes, and a good way to see how other people think. I missed it, and actually felt all pent up while it was down.
I found myself ranting to my brother, needless to say he's glad TFP's back :D |
missed it, missed it, missed it! Don't have as much time to read and absorb as I would like, but soon...
yeah it was a relaxation.
I have mixed feelings, love talking on here, but it was nice to get a break. i spent overall less time paying attention to the war, without this to keep my ideas flowing.
I missed it, not so much the war forum but the board in general.
Nope, didn't calm me at all. My blood pressure never raised though.
A day or so after the forum was created, I came to the conclusion that backing off was the way to go. For me, it's a good decision. I'll post the occasional statement for anyone who's interested in knowing my opinion. That's about it.

I agree with frenik, forums like this help me vent.
Politics are an exercise in futility, Id rather talk to freinds about guns, how there day to day life was and do something contructive.
