Nice site to monitor election state by state
This is pretty cool.
It will be updated on an ongoing basis. You can even check the results going all the way back to 1948. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/shared/spl/h...ml/default.stm Mr Mephisto |
Hey thats real cool Mr M thanks!!!
|
BBC at that.....yup, just closed the CNN map, gonna go with this one
|
The Past Elections tab is especially interesting. For example, did you know an independent got just under 10,000,000 votes and the electoral college votes of four states in 1968? An independent?!
It's fun to hit the "Play" button and see how states have swung from Rep to Dem (or vice versa) over the past few years. I know some of you don't like BBC, but it generally does good stuff. Mr Mephisto |
i like their site, its already updating
|
Wow. It even has a new data download popup. Nice.
|

Mr Mephisto |

Still works fine for me.
I like it. Mr Mephisto |
The BBC site seems to either be slow in updating their information, or they're getting their information from a different source than C-SPAN:
http://network.ap.org/dynamic/files/...CTION=POLITICS |
or....they are waiting to post accurate results
|
They're getting their information from Associated Press.
"The AP are the sole organisation responsible for providing the results for the major American media networks. The information they provide will form the basis for election results but different broadcasters may decide to interpret partial results in different ways." REF: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/americas/3956161.stm Mr Mephisto |
The link I posted is on AP's website. So....
|
Hey Bling, I wasn't arguing with you. Just posting the link to the Q&A.

No worries. I'm just confused.
Maybe because it is AP's website, it's getting the numbers quicker. |
Here are the 6 pm exit poll results:
Kerry Bush PA 53 46 FL 51 49 NC 48 52 OH 51 49 MO 46 54 AR 47 53 MI 51 47 NM 50 49 LA 43 56 CO 48 51 AZ 45 55 MN 54 44 WI 52 47 IA 49 49 |

Will that make a difference?
Mr Mephisto |

(the second link is based on the pre-election polls, so changes can be made immediately) free subscription may be required |
Great site.
