I am in a unique position this year. I actually KNOW one of the candidates. I've known Ken Anton for 18 years, and I trust him implicitly.

I'll let you decide on his positions for yourselves, but let me give you a little insight into what kind of person Ken is.

He really loves this country. We hear this all the time and it sounds sappy, but it is true. He is running for office because he thinks that he can make things better. End of story.

He is beholden to no special interest groups. His positions are 100% his own. He is a member of various groups because they share his position on an issue or issues. Ken can not be bought, and doesn't tollerate people who can.

Ken is a good guy. If you need a hand, he's going to be the first person to help you out. He'sa smart guy, and he works a lot harder than most people I know.

I know he has very little chance of winning the election. He hasn't done any serious fund-raising, and he isn't part of a major party. But he is a damn good person. If you are in CA Assembly District 1, I urge your to vote for him.
