Well, I think I'm taking the word of the police officer over the word of the Republican Party Chairman.
"There was no indication at the scene that this burglary was politically motivated." Watergate? Please, it was a simple burglary, it happens all the time. Move on. By the way, anyone else find this sentence hilarious: Quote:

The problem with that is, which computers were taken.
I don't think that it was anything officially planned within the Democratic party, but from this line: Quote:

I am sure any number of computers that remained would also be though of as politically sensitive. I bet the Pub's had their most sensitive info on the best, most expensive computers. Ya think? Those do seem to be the ones a burglar would go for if he is limited in what he can take.
I really don't think the Washington State Democratic party is all to worried about the Republicans GOTV efforts. That would be like the Alabama GOP raiding the Democratic Headquarters of that state. |
The story gives no details about the locations of the computers...maybe they were right next to the window (as the "wires...still hung out the large hole in the window" might suggest) or maybe not. We plainly don't know and there aren't enough details in the story to come to any reasonable conclusion.

Poor taste has nothing to do with party affiliation.
