New AOL Poll: Bush or Kerry?

There's a new poll up at AOL. Just thought I'd post the link so you all can vote for whoever you want. Kerry and Bush seem to be about 50/50 so far. If the election were held today, who would you vote for?

AOL Poll: Bush vs. Kerry

Between now and November you will see 100's of polls. All of which mean absolutely nothing. Unless a huge scandal, in which case we will know whose going to win, this election will be incredibly close.

Polls mean jack shit. Anyone remember President Dewey? I didn't think so

(He was up by an outstanding amount and they closed the polls. Newspapers announced his victory... but Truman won.)

Yeah, I know about Dewey.

And I posted this poll mainly because it's the first one I've seen since Kerry clinched the nomination.

Internet polls don't really tell us anything beyond what visitors to the site want. Scientific polling, on the other hand, has improved quite a bit in the 56 years since "DEWEY WINS ELECTION!"

Real polls have value. However, internet polls are totally worthless.

*edited for clarity

Yea, the Polls were great in 2000.

I won't say who i'm going to vote for before kerry grows a pair, and really settles down on the issues, and announces his running mate.

How about the polls that gave Bush the popular vote and Gore the electoral vote. Perhaps you recall that from before the election.

I do hear that the military people are still voting for Bush. Republican was the standard for the years that I was in. I only wish more of them would vote.

I only wish Edwards were in the running, then I would have to pay attention to the issues. Kerry just doesn't impress me.

Bush by a nose hair.

*sigh*

Well, if we're gonna diss the poll accuracy from 2000, we might as well diss the ELECTION accuracy from 2000.

sixate 03-04-2004 04:46 AM

If I had to vote right now, I'd vote for myself, and I'm not even joking a little.

Bush and his bullshit religious kick has been making me ill lately, and Kerry is a complete fucking pussy with no agenda.

Yes lets keep whining that somehow a democratic county can't manage to design a ballot, vote correctly, or follow election law, and then blame it on the supereme court :)

Let go your hate.

I wasn't talking about talking-heads filling up airtime with useless blather either.
