While I do not think that we have captured him yet, I can see a senario where we have him, are squeezing him for information and will eventually drop his dead body into a cave on the Pakistan/Afganistan border, bomb the hell out of that location and then "find" his remains. I doubt it would, will or has happened, but you never know.

It is very interesting that after this report Bush "ok'd" a more intensive look for Bin Laden. Why hasn't he had one before?

I understand why we would hold him in secrecy. You'd have to be a total whack job not. BUT Bush does want reelected and would stop at nothing to get reelected.

We'll see if a month or so before the election we find Bin Laden "hiding" I will wonder.

In fact with Bush it would not surprise me that Bin Laden has been dead for months and he's using all he can get out of this fear for his own gain.

I have often said and will continue to believe until election day, that Bush will do something to make sure he keeps office.

Whether that is have some "terrorist attacks" right before the election and suspend them declaring Martial Law (I truly can see Bush doing something to this effect.

Or bringing about Bin Laden and others and showing whom he "just" caught.

Anyways, id be surprised if he was still out there planning Al Qaeida activities.

He's either dead or in a cave hiding out on the border of Pakistan with little communication to others.

I am not a big fan of Bush, but come on, Martial Law and suspending elections is more than a little far-fetched.

Paq 03-02-2004 12:33 PM

yeah, even i'd have to say bush wouldn't do that...

Seaver 03-02-2004 12:57 PM

Bush will also sleep with every minority woman in America to implant his seed, and they will be obligated to support their baby's daddy.

Come on...

You've been spending too much time in "Tilted Paranoia".

But even if Bush were tempted to do such a thing, this is why there is a 2nd Amendment and several million gun owners.

Paq 03-02-2004 01:32 PM

I don't really think there would be a bunch of people running out with muskets if bush declared martial law....

that was purpose behind 2nd amendment...not so bubba can come out with his machine gun that he uses to "hunt squirrels"

:)

j/k, i really do support the 2nd amendment, i just think the NRA is as bad as the ACLU

Oh my, so many inaccuracies, misconceptions and stereotypes I would love to reply to, but that would be a major thread-jack.

If you want to start a new thread however... :D

Paq 03-02-2004 02:19 PM

nah, it's all good, i was just stating many inaccuracies, misconceptions and stereotypes to get a rise out of ya..hence the smilie :)

I still, however, view the NRA and ACLU on the same level...then again, AARP is getting up there as well...
I also don't forsee the american gunowning public to rush to the borders carrying whatever guns they have. At least, i don't see that happening at this day and age.

Back to regularly scheduled thread.

Ok so if we have a terrorist attack on the scale of 9/11 a week before the elections you seriously think the elections would be held?

I'm not saying he would but I truly believe there is that possibility IF the polls show he would lose.

There is no doubt in my mind that staying in power is all that matters to this guy and he would do anything to maintain it.

Look who makes the electronic voting machines that are going to be used and that company (Diebold) has donated millions to Bush through the officers and fundraising dinners they sponser. (I know this for a fact as living in Canton, where Diebold is headquartered it is common knowledge). Why would a company, that makes election machines donate so much to a candidate?

All Diebold has to do is every 10th vote or so for the Dem. becomes a vote for Bush. There are tests, I know but who runs these tests?

Maybe I am paranoid but this administration sure does give reason to be paranoid. Sometimes paranoid is a good thing, especially if just the making of noise makes people wonder and take notice of things.

You should read more Arab papers... cause you know... it was Bush who caused the 9/11 attacks not Muslims.

Can you name me ONE thing that points to Bush staying in power at any cost?

If they could fix the elections w/out getting arrested... wouldnt the Candidate pay the company instead?

Once again, other than put policies in place that are not liberal, can you name one thing that points to Bush doing or planning to do anything to fix elections?
