So almost smack in the middle with libertarian leanings.

Honestly about where I expected to be.

Some of the statments were very generalised, however, for the most part, I would say it was pretty balanced.

Economic Left/Right: -1.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 0.36

Almost dead center, but not quite.

Kadath 06-04-2003 09:59 PM

Isn't that graph wrong? Shouldn't the left economic side be socialism? I thought communism was a political theory, not an economic one.
It would be nice to see US parties on that graph.

Right there by Nelson Mandela and the Dalai Lama... I'd say that's a great place to be. Perfect.

Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.31

I hope that doesn't mean I'm some kind of hippie.

XenuHubbard 06-06-2003 11:26 PM

Communism shouldn't be on the scale.
The only question somewhat related to it was whether a one-party system has the advantage of eliminating bureaucracy from it's policy-making. And yes, it does. But it didn't ask whether this advantage is worth the downsides. Which it isn't.
