A day which shall live in infamy
On this day, 62 years ago, men lost their lives in the bombing of Pearl Harbor. Men and women of the military, retired or currently serving, I salute you keep fighting the fight just so I can sleep peacefully at night.

Wow it was Sunday as well.
Looking at the date and seeing Sunday, December 7, 2003 still puts Sunday, December 7, 1941 in my mind no matter where I look. And yes I second that - they were the greatest generation to live |

if the current generation in that age bracket were faced with the same situation, what do you think the response would be?
personally, i don't believe we have the same moral clarity or will to wage war on the same scale. there are definitely those among us who would be up to the task, but i think our society as a whole is weaker in that respect.
